  • Home to Victoria's Gippsland Car Club, Bryant Park is a circa-1.3-kilometre hillclimb track located around 140km east of Melbourne.
Combining a tight, twisty layout with fun and challenging elevation changes, Bryant Park is a phenomenal track, where cars and drivers can be equally tested.
Here, Australian motoring journalist - and general car enthusiast - Dave Zalstein, shows you the short clockwise layout of the compact and technical circuit, from behind the wheel of a very special 1999 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Version 5 Coupe.
Check out the conventional clockwise layout of Bryant Park from behind the wheel of the 2018 Hyundai i30 N here:

Or the reverse (anti-clockwise) layout of Bryant Park from behind the wheel of Dave's very own 2017 VFII Holden Ute SS V Redline here:

Such a fun track and such a fun car. My mate's '99 two-door isn't quite a 22B, but it's still a very cool car and sounds the business.
Are you in Australia or overseas?

It was a hoot of a car - all the right noises, all the right feelings. It was a mate's though, and he's since sold it for a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, still cool but no two-door '99.
      cheers Danny

How much does it cost to use this track Dave, and is there anything required as far as safety gear, i.e helmets, fire extinguishers etc?

Hi Avrilcadabra. The track is pretty much owned and run by the Gippsland Car Club. You can check out more info about them here: gippslandcarclub.wordpress.com/
Or contact them via their Facebook page here: facebook.com/gippslandcarclubbryantpark/

If you're interested in hiring the track for yourself, best bet would be to contact the club directly and see if they can make that available to you. Good luck man.
