Imagine running 10 kilometres just to see a glass door instead of the exit door (for those who dont know if there is a glass door instead of the normal exit door you’ll have to restart the level and the chance of it appearing is 0.004%)

I hear this music on this level in VRChat, and I must say, this definitely makes it way scarier. Not only am I running from a bunch of things chasing me, but this music does *n o t* calm me down.

Really, I find this music calming
You know you are screwed when this starts playing out of nowhere at night.
That is when it turns to a horror theme as in Halloween.
It’s like the song is telling a story, you’re caught in this level, for a few seconds, you try to figure out where you are. The beat drops as you realize you’re being chased by a hoard of entities, you run, the song gets more and more intense as you run. Then at the end you can see the exit, you’re almost there, you keep running as it gets closer, it’s so close to you. And you get out.
Plot twist:the exit was fake you got transported back to level 0

you should look at the backrooms unlimited soundtrack, its pretty good.
2 years later and it's still a masterpiece. The main melody gives you a feeling of pride and perseverance while some of the instruments in the background remind you that you are still in much danger, and the bass just sounding awesome and being there to keep away some of the silence, and when it "echoes" at parts like 0:16 it gives that feeling of uncomfortableness and fear of the backrooms, beautiful soundtrack.

You wake up to see a hallway, bathed in blood red. The exit signs are distinguished by their bright, white neon letters. It is like a strobe light burning through your eyes. You pick yourself up, to find that there are doors on the sides of the hallways. You try opening a few, but it is in vain. You then hear loud footsteps behind you.
“Thump. Thump. THUMP!” You turn around to see a smiler, with a body. It has muscular arms, with small legs. It propels itself towards you, charging and roaring. You get a rush of adrenaline and start sprinting to the only place, the exit.
You have been running for hours, you have just realized that the air mixture is a combination of liquid pain and oxygen. You will succumb to a painful death if you stay here for too long. The cold, hard floor is waxy, and you have a trouble getting a grip on it. The monsters are breathing down your neck, like a python trying to squeeze your airways. You see a humanoid shape, you call out to it, but it doesn’t respond. It tries grabbing you when you pass it. The walls and ceiling are collapsing. Hordes of monsters weaken the walls, and break through. They are led by the smiler you saw before. Your feet are numb. Your toes too. Your hands are covered in a layer of dust.
Choose Ending: 1, 2.
End 1:
You run, and run. You wipe the thick tears off your eyes when you see the exit. Only to be discombobulated by the clear turn ahead. You trip, and get back up, but, you bones snap. You watch as you scream in pain, looking at your mangled arm. You feel as if your toes will fall off, and to your surprise, they do. The cold hard floor is not anymore. It is a pool of liquid pain. You scream, as the skin that wrapped you starts coming off, holes in your skin start showing. You try getting back up, but to no avail. All of your toes fall off, and their bloodied insides spill out. You slam the pool of water, only for your hand to dissolve. You start hyperventilating, and when you breathe in the air, your lungs explode. Your chest spews out it’s internal organs, and your voice box deteriorates. You turn to see the monsters gone, but as you turn back, your head falls out. You cannot scream. Your eyes touch the liquid and the pain is unbearable. You cannot scream. You are dead.
They really should make Backrooms Netflix series

There's a sublayer of this level that is called Level !-! that is (nearly) the same except a bit more dangerous with more turns, more entities and longer halls. Quite changed my mind about Level ! being the most dangerous level out there.

Well there is the Shady Gray which is way more dangerous.
It’s called hotel chase, way more dangerous because the second you enter your sanity drops rapidly, but almond water can slow it down. There’s also blue halls that you can go in to rest. If you run long enough you can even find the promised land but very unlikely.

What the remaster improved on is the pacing. Even tho this sounds great for a running level the speed of the song doesn't match the tone. Still great tho.

I remeber hearing this song for the first time in a rec room backrooms level and when i heard the music and monster behind me i started to cry my eyes out and just keep running with my shaking legs as all my friends died behind me… when i made it to the door, it didnt open cause of a glitch or something so i just looked back and exepted my fate, i was so scared, but now at least i can listen to this banger and the remix on loop

Dude... This is amazing. As I listen I think of how this would fit with the level and everything fits. The beats of your heart. The eerie feeling of the tune. And then the little subtle part of relief in the middle as if you lost them, but then it picks back up as the entities turned the corner, and you have to sprint again. And the best part is in the end, when it's all calm, making it through the level. It all mixes together, making this tune into the most suitable music to go over a level ! Video. Great work on the entire song.😁👍
