    I grew up next door to this man, he took me out on the delta once to watch him and his son catch 40lb stripers on frogs, i'll never forget it. It was that day i'd become a bass fisherman. Thanks Bobby! You're a legend.

    Yet another great video of "thinking outside the box" with the froggie! When the conditions are right, a square peg fit perfectly in a round hole! That "circle s" cast is money! I'm still working on getting it down perfectly, but it did get me some fish at the last Snagproof/Scumfrog Open on Guntersvile! Hope you & Stacey are staying Warm with this cold weather hitting Texas

    Bobby did a great job of explaining this to the kids at the Fishin with Faith Youth Fishing Camp last summer. Thanks for passing on your experience!!

    Gospel.
    Can't tell you how much my catching improved since I first watched you on stage at the Fred Hall show MANY years ago.
    You taught me the importance of presentation . . . clutch is all I'll say.

    I've watched this video at 1/4 speed probably 100 times now trying to figure-out the 'Circle S' cast . . . then go out on my lawn and practice. You make it look 1000 times easier than it actually is.
    I think I'm WORSE at it now than when I first started trying to do it ! LOL
    Not sure what I'm doing wrong, or if it's my equipment . . . any more tips you'd be willing to throw out would be much appreciated.
    I'm a pretty proficient caster, side-arm skips, roll-casts, flip, pitch etc. . . . I've fished a lot of saltwater, so I can fly-line an anchovy on 12#, and pendulum-cast a 9 foot surface iron rod. So I get the 'principal' behind it all.
    But your 'Circle-S' Technique is on a while other level. Good Stuff !
    I'm determined to learn it, at least a 'little' by summer.

    Bobby why did they discontinue your buzz frog 🐸 ? God I love that bait in the summer

    • @BobbyBarracksBassClass
      @BobbyBarracksBassClass  2 роки тому +3

      Amazing bait, however they just don't sell that great. It gas its place and time for sure. You can take an in line buzz bait and put a perfect frog, or your favorite frog on it. Wobbletron is currently being re tooled, that will be the best one to attach to your "hand made " in line buzz. We made the 1st ones with bailing wire. Lol

      Ha!!! No doubt. Froggin isn't supposed to be a contact sport.
      "Topwater Froggin with caution" was the name of that video. We filmed in the south Delta that day. Great memories!

    Do you recommend skipping the frog to the target or no?

    • @BobbyBarracksBassClass
      @BobbyBarracksBassClass  2 роки тому +4

      I skip the frog a lot more when the water is warmer. I prefer to drop the bait EXACTLY where I think the fish may be 85% of the time. I want the fish to look UP ss soon as the bait lands.. The 1st twitch can trigger that fish quite often. I have some of that coming soon. Stay tuned.
