i use a buzz bait in high 40 degree water and it works good on big bass in late feb. early march

if the water is in the 50's and warming a degree or two during the day, you can make it happen. I prefer the lower tides for this. Good Luck!! keep me posted.

This is no joke! I’m still pretty new to the winter topwater fishing, but the past couple of winters some of my biggest bass have come on topwater in the middle of winter with water temps down to 50. I’ve had some pretty good luck an hour or two after dark as well, as the water is still relatively warm since water takes longer than air to cool. It feels good to get on a bite that not many people know about. The expression you get when you tell someone you caught a big bass on a frog at night in the middle of January is priceless 🤣

You bet. Very location and tide specific. You have to know where there is a presence of shallow bass. If water temp is in the 50 degree range, but warming a couple degrees during the day, then this will help your odds. The lower tides were always key for me . There's a lot to it, but it can be done. At some point, I need to do some Delta situational tide videos for sure. You know, the stuff I never ever talked about
