You missed the point that General category candidate cannot take the seat of reserved SC/ST when there is no eligible candidate for reserved category. But an reserved category candidate can take up the seat from general category. 😢

First Thing - 10 year reservation limit, this is fake, please check again. 2nd - You can't judge X & Y case for whole community, this type case comparetawely less than sc/st. 3 - More vacant seats for sc/st, not filled up till now. Reasion is, More sc/st parents are uneducated or even they can't afford basic necessities to sit in competition & 2nd one is, officials not wanted to fill seats & they told "Dhang ke candidate nahi mile".
I don't think you have seen enough selection lists of recruitment exams. Nowadays unreserved seats getting filled with reserve candidates (condition applied) and if somehow reserve candidates no eligible then the seats are carried over to upcoming years selection process.
Obviously, they just use their caste as advantage and as a victim card. Sure, not all sc/st are rich. But it is same as of other upper castes. Reservation is killing merit system.

We are already in a country where seats are extremely low The competition is extremely high and the last thing we needed was like a 50% fking reservation! Like seriously either increase the seats or decrease the reservation
Sc/st reservation is not based on wealth. It's based on casteism. No matter how rich you become you still can't be an upper caste. So wealth doesn't matter to get sc/st reservation.
Let me tell you real problem, you may remember X and Y from start of this video, lets assume both X and Y are SC, unlike this video, Y gets more percentile than X. In that case the Y will get selection not X, cz though they are from SC category, but SC do have limited seats. And now this cycle will continue, children of Y will get better opportunities than X's. And that is the reason despite 75 years of reservation poor SC are still poor. Cz rich SC take their seets.
Actually it might surprise you but elite upper class SC/STs are also giving their reservation status, they just don't tell anyone openly. In my own relatives, 3 didn't made caste certificates and one is in IIEST, one is in BITS and one is in AIIMS in general only. So it definitely happens.

He is not that good in studies but still he got selection in NIT jaipur (at much lower rank than general). And to be true he took seat of another poor SC boy who deserved real benefit of reservation.

Reservation should be based on level of poverty, resources not based on eligibility. Exam level is same for everyone then why not job hiring be equal for eligible candidates?

No they won't get it. Because the rich sc and st will be availing it, not the ones who actually need it. There isn't a level playing field when from an mbbs degree everyone gets out with the same education, same institute same level of knowledge, yet the sc and st get reservation again for masters even thought the need for it has ended. The reservation system is plummeting our country into a doom which we won't be able to rescue it from because all the talent will migrate to other countries who are happy to pay them higher salaries and equal treatment.

For example suppose I qualified for MBBS studies with the help of reservation at a low score. And I happened to be first literate person in my entire family and relatives and first to qualify for MBBS in my village. Unlike forward caste students,I lack an educational backup, lack socialisation, lack proper guidance to clear my doubts, and lack that confidence. Amalgamation of these factors resulted in low scoring in entrance exam. Then I worked hard and completed mbbs. But neither mbbs degree nor reservation could change the factors overnight which affected my psychology, mental ability. So the playing field is not levelled yet. And it'll never be levelled in my generation. The 3rd generation from me can have all those which I lacked. Then only a level playing field can be expected. So essentials are educational opportunities, exposure to competition, proper facilities and mentorship and 3 generation of time. Your 3rd point is not related to reservation. Vast population with scanty resources is the reason. Plus some are fascinated about free lifestyle, 3 times higher pay than any Indian top jobs and much obsessed NRI status.

2nd - You can't judge X & Y case for whole community, this type case comparetawely less than sc/st.
3 - More vacant seats for sc/st, not filled up till now. Reasion is, More sc/st parents are uneducated or even they can't afford basic necessities to sit in competition & 2nd one is, officials not wanted to fill seats & they told "Dhang ke candidate nahi mile".
I don't think you have seen enough selection lists of recruitment exams. Nowadays unreserved seats getting filled with reserve candidates (condition applied) and if somehow reserve candidates no eligible then the seats are carried over to upcoming years selection process.
Obviously, they just use their caste as advantage and as a victim card. Sure, not all sc/st are rich. But it is same as of other upper castes. Reservation is killing merit system.

Sc/st reservation is not based on wealth. It's based on casteism. No matter how rich you become you still can't be an upper caste. So wealth doesn't matter to get sc/st reservation.
Let me tell you real problem, you may remember X and Y from start of this video, lets assume both X and Y are SC, unlike this video, Y gets more percentile than X. In that case the Y will get selection not X, cz though they are from SC category, but SC do have limited seats. And now this cycle will continue, children of Y will get better opportunities than X's. And that is the reason despite 75 years of reservation poor SC are still poor. Cz rich SC take their seets.

Actually it might surprise you but elite upper class SC/STs are also giving their reservation status, they just don't tell anyone openly. In my own relatives, 3 didn't made caste certificates and one is in IIEST, one is in BITS and one is in AIIMS in general only.

2nd point leveled playing field is a misconception. For example suppose I qualified for MBBS studies with the help of reservation at a low score. And I happened to be first literate person in my entire family and relatives and first to qualify for MBBS in my village. Unlike forward caste students,I lack an educational backup, lack socialisation, lack proper guidance to clear my doubts, and lack that confidence.
