I always dig out my Chantal albums every month and replay the hell out of them. She is everything I love about singer songwriters. Chantal and Elton John/Bernie Taupin. It's magic when it's the right chemistry.

She's had multiple songs over the years that I've really liked. There's "Surrounded" featured here that was on Dawson's Creek, "Time" that was on Joan of Arcadia, and "In This Life" which was on Smallville.
Chantal is Extremely Gifted and has written many AMAZING Songs, and with Raine, has been assisting several Songwriters and Performers enhance their craft.

@saopaulokid2010 I couldn't agree with you more. Knowing the background story to this song how could anyone not shed a tear at this performance and give it the proper due acknowledgement? She is amazing.
AWESOME
When I was eight someone dropped a bomb on me and my family, my mother had collapsed and the doctors worked on her for hours but they could not revive her, I identify with the third verse of the song about that bomb. You never forget, or never stop fearing it.
the smile she gives at 745 is worth the price of admission alone

awful audienceeeeeeeeeee. THIS BRILLIANT performance DESERVED a FULL standing ovation of at least 20 minutes. This song is so underrated. It's a true gem of songwriting and performance. people were so blahh about it. I guess it's just the structure of the program, but even the clapping was like blahh. Anyway, she's brilliant.
