IT HAS A 454, T-400 TRANS AND 3.73 GEAR RATIO. I ALSO ORDERED THE ENGINE OIL COOLER AND TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER. IT HAS 80,000 ORIGINAL MILES. HECK THE CRUISE CONTROL STILL WORKS AS NEW.
Funny - when I saw it I immediately thought it must have been a take on the original color scheme of the truck (or the combo his old man had on a truck back in the day) because no one would build a custom vehicle with such a “vanilla” color scheme!
Man I just love those square body trucks from Ford, Chevrolet, GMC and Dodge it didn't matter to me who made the truck it's just those square body trucks are awesome and cool however what I don't like is the 2 tone paint job those trucks came with from the factory from the 70's through the 90's
Nice truck and all. Not to nay say or anything, but it makes me glad I built mine. So much fun and enjoyment gone when just buying it already finished. Imagine if you'd actually built that thing. Or at least had a much bigger hand in it, doing say 60% of the work. I realize not everyone can execute master paint work, and I'll be having mine painted by pros, but there's an awful lot one can do oneself.
Well, you must know your place and leave it to the pros. I am a home builder; I build custom homes, I know what an owner's build looks like compared to a professional, so I decided to get it all done. so my truck didn't look like a DIY with my mechanical skills lol
