I bought the Eahora Romeo 2000 bucks 60 ah battery 1000w 1200 peak motor and cruises 29-32 mph All throttle flat ground went almost 40 miles before it even dropped a bar
I've had this bike since June. Mine did come with sleeves over the bars to cover the wires. My other Ariel Rider bikes (X-Class & Kepler) kinda spoiled me, but I do still like this bike alot.
Glad that I found out that this was just a real 750w no frills ebikes before I purchased it,just brought the porlana m4 ebike off amozon ( two day crazy super sale)for 800 dollars,it's back up to 1,259 now,buy of a lifetime,
Have 2 DK200’s, tires, Shinko 241 16 x 3 yes it fits, headlight to handlebars, built rack, Honda 750 cafe racer seat, turn signals and more. think you will pedal this bike far, think again. Now have kickstand mount (weld failing)! Replace both brakes with new hyd. Setup $60.00. I disconnected pedal assist, (useless) and dangerous! Hate jerky throttle would like a smoother start off. Built rack with saddle bags, moved headlight up to handlebars, added 48 to 12volt converter for usb charging and 300 hz. Loud horn
I have one of these as a shuttlecraft for my bus. It's pretty cool. I want to pop out the pedals/crank and just make it foot pegs. It's a perfect mod because there's no gears to hassle with. Your tail light is slightly different than mine.
My bike will hit the top speed up until it dies! So i believe some bikes may do the same. About the hydraulic and mechanical they did that to save money. 1 bike may not make a difference but when your making 100’s-1000’s of these bikes the price starts to make sense. About the controller. All controllers limits bikes. 1000w 48v motors can top out at 36mph so im guessing they drop the speed to around 30 so that the motor last way longer.
That's very much like my Mario ebike but mine has two hydraulic brakes kke suspension forks and 1000w mid-drive that peake at 1600w the freego has a very simple frame witch I like,
Did you go in to the submenu on the control panel? Using the 2020 code to get in and change settings? What kind of torque increase do you feel you got? I'm 300+ lbs and got my DK up to 28 mph. I feel I could have went faster but I ran out of road on that test day. I have to find a really long stretch and open it up. Another issue we have here is that for 8 or so months out of the year, it's 100+ degrees outside night and day which causes the hub motor and controller to over heat within 15 minutes of riding. Most of our EVs, cars and bikes, have over heating issues and don't really get used until October rolls around. From Oct to March-ish, we can use them as intended but every other time of year...it's torture on EVs.
MR. CD, you mentioned earlier in the vid. (most excellent content as usual btw) About the motor not feeling like a 1,200 W, a bit of research on their FEEGROs (sic) site and I looked at the DK200 motor replacement purchase and it is stated 750W to 1,200 Watt. Also the battery/controller 20 AH is in question did "WE" not see 17 AH? Word of the year is "TORQUE" no mention here or anywhere. Newton Meters? bet it comes in under 80NM's? Pricing for a 750 W, 48Volt 17 AH is around 1.5 k USD. A TRUE 1000W NOMINAL with enough get up and go will peak conservatively at 1,500 W add BIG 48 Volt 20 AH batt, speeds of easy 35 mph and above for the tiny payload folks. Will fetch above the 2 K USD level. NOMINAL or PEAK is the question. Mr. CD already knew the answer and ahhhhhh shucks, Central CAL. kind of Feller was keeping it light & polite. Please that's not a bash , sir. Nobody knew until you rode it and we found another 28 mph. ebike. GPS that speed and subtract -2 I'm guessing, I have 7 bikes looking for lucky number 8 and headed towards Sur-Ron. AR Grizz 2 ruined me for anything else. I will purchase thru you and keep putting out the most excellent content.
The controller is what limits this bike being set to 12a out of the box and being a 20a max controller, I shunt modded my controller and I was able to pull 34a out of it and the bike definitely gets moving up to 32-33 with my Speedo being corrected(change the tire size from 24 to 22 and confirmed with gps) and I'm a 6'2 220lb dude so I'm not light by any means and having the extra battery on it adds more weight as well. Now I only did that because I have 2 of these batteries from freego and I have them wired in parallel and since the battery BMS is limited to 25a I effectively have 50a to play with, I wouldn't try giving this bike more than 25a unless you know how to bypass the bms or you get a battery with a better discharge rate(or go parallel batteries like I did)
You forgot to kick of your stand before you go, that's dangerous. Aside from that I put a DIY thumb trottle on my half-trottle grip and it does'nt hurt my palm anymore.
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
The throttle and pedal assist delay might just be an adjustable setting? I have a Lectric XP 2.0, and out of the box it was the same way but pretty straightforward to adjust for quicker response.
Same thing with my xp I had to mess with the settings on my xp2.0 now I just ordered this bike since my wife liked the xp says it will show up today can’t wait to ride this bike
I wish these manufactures would be honest on the power gee whiz I need a 40 to 50 mph bike for doordash but I don't wanna buy something that claims it and when i get it it does no faster than what I got now. That would really suck I get 28 now makes me wanna go back to gas and get a honda rukus or something similar.
Just wondering I like all the driving of the bike and all but what do you do when you get a flat 5 miles or so out from where you started? Do you just have spare tubes or slime with you and just fix it right there. I'm new to all this e bike riding especially with the big fat tires. I got 3 flats already with the big fat tires and I had to push the bike back home luckily each time I've only gotten about only 3 miles away.
@@MrCentralDriver 20 but it's set to 12 out of the box. Change p06 to 22 to fix your Speedo, change p08 to 100, set p12 to 5 for better throttle response, and p14 to 20 to max the controller amps.

This is NOT a 1200W bike. That's PEAK wattage - and it even states that outright on Freego's website. It's a 750W motor, max. It might even be a 500W. If it truly *was* a 1200W, it would be a great buy. But being that it's actually 500 or 750W, it's not worth it. (In China, they advertise bikes as peak wattage, not nominal/continuous like we do here in the States. Most sellers adjust for this and tell us true wattage, Freego has chosen not to and as a result it gives buyers a false sense of what they're purchasing.)
I bought this bike in September. I put about 200 miles on it then it got stolen. I bought it kinda impulsively. Started watching more ebike videos on YT and saw the dope ass bikes that are out there. I bought this bike a month ago. It's my first ebike and I really like it. I can reach 28mph fairly easily. Though the suspension is very rough.
28mph and it's a 1200w motor that seems like trash. I have a 750w 48volt bike with 16amp hours. Something is not right.
80km range possible with pedal assist mode level 2?
