I mean don’t get me wrong, the previous seasons of Game of Thrones were amazing because despite all of the high fantasy we still had amazing characters at the core of it. As the show continued to grow and become more mainstream the interesting character relations died as a result. With Big Little Lies, I love it even more because this show is about characters and their relationships with one another. There are no dragons or zombies to distract from that. Not to mention the performances on this show are just masterclasses all around the board.
Exactly my feelings about both shows! It’s kind of funny that it’s on a Big Little lies clip that I finally find someone who matches my feelings about GOT 😊 Intriguing realistically human characters, and their interactions with one another, what attracts me to a television show as well
@@amym5062 I know I'm like 3 years too late, but if you all haven't already, check out Succession!! It's the most riveting show on TV imo, even for the high quality among all HBO, and relies purely on family dynamics, and yet manages to be more gripping than anything I've seen.
Absolutely hilarious misandry. In the REAL WORLD, a man that can afford a 4 million $ house on the California coast shares ZERO characteristics of the men depicted in this series and EVERYBODY KNOWS IT. The show is full of simps, abusive & insecure men …only to make women feel superior. When viewed in this context, it really is entertaining!😂😂😂

What I really like about this show is the sense of reality. No dragons, no zombies, no thrones; only humans and their relationships.
