One thing I recommend is just Go ahead get a seat and pedals right away. These are the ones I got but I'm sure some cheaper options out there.

I noticed you only really got up 15mph on throttle with no downward incline. On the Amazon link it says you can unlock it to go up to 20 can you verify if thats true?
No the display is like the most basic thing I have ever seen they really skimped out on that so there are zero settings you just get what you get there’s no unlock but seriously after I put a seat and new pedals on this it’s pretty solid as is

I have one from Amazon. Mine has 3 pedal assist modes, low medium and high. Low is @14 mph. Medium 17 mph. High 22. That also goes for throttle only, which is how I ride it. I weigh 220lbs and get @20 miles throttle only full speed, @25 miles medium, @30 low speed. I can use throttle only on steep hills, but it does slow down as you go up. My display also has mph which only varies slightly with phone GPS. Also included phone mount with phone USB charging hub on bottom of mount. A removable front handle bar bag was included for groceries, but I use a folding pannier bag strapped on to rear seat. Have over 500 miles on the bike. I've had larger bike before and the best 2 things about this besides price is how silent motor is and the security alarm if moved when alarm is on, it sounds loudly and locks rear wheel so it can't roll. Was super excited when you said this was a $200 ebike! What you forgot to mention is that its actually $209 PLUS $180 shipping. Went from impulse purchase territory to not so much unfortunately.

Relax dude Amazon changes prices almost daily nowadays and paying under $400 for an ebike is about as cheap as you can get
