Czech nymphing is something I didn’t understand until now, and I had never heard of the Belgian cast, both really clearly explained and demonstrated here - thank you! Now to go out and put them into practice!

    Excellent explanation.
Sure one of the best videos dealing with "our" nymphing.
Maybe also an explanation about what length of the tippet below the indicator in various depths and different currents???
    Left you a subscription 😊
Greetings and tight lines 🎣 from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.

Do you use a Sage Esn Rod and how long is it?

I use 3106 and 4100 in rivers with big trout! 2100 for small streams with fish to 35cm

This is all great but I'd like to see someone explain, in detail, the differences between, Czech Nymphing, French Nymphing, Spanish Nymphing, Polish Nymphing, etc. I understand that "Euro Nymphing" is just a broad and ambiguous term that is used to describe all of them. I want to be able to understand the differences. There must be a difference or there wouldn't be different names. If there was something written, diagrams would be helpful also.
    Anybody...

Trout are not always on the bottom. You also do not want your fly or flies ON the bottom. It is often not productive or necessary to pull the nymphs downstream. There is your free masterclass.

Fancy names. Call it what you want it's still high sticking that I've been doing for 40 years. If I weighted my flies as you do where I fish like Hat Creek all my flies would end up in the rocks. Weighted flies drift like a rock. Use a split shot and let the fly drift naturally.
