Have you tried shopping in age and gender groups? Like the four girls, the four older boys and the four younger boys.

I think she said next year they are doing it online . What I don't like about online is that sometimes it might not fit you or I can't compare try to in stores when trying . And do what my parents did tell them either they pick something or else you would and stop being so damn picky .

Bree knocked it out of the park! Great choices. A suggestion for next time, have each childs clothes rang up and placed in their own bag, one at a time, and save time sorting later. Especially since many of the kids didn't show you their choices. Just a thought 🤔. Great job though. How you keep so composed is beyond wonderful!!🎉

In New York they have to pay for bags so I think that's why she had them put in 2 bags only.

Why not take just a few kids at a time so they could actually get help and attention that they need
Cause that would be too easy, and give the children the attention they agreed to give then when adopting the., and bring less views
Seems views trump care and attention for kids unfortunately that's how this comes off :(

Each one goes through cashier line separately ( bagged) and bring their own bag,then sit or stand waiting for next..easy breezy...get home with their own bag of clothing..

Just a suggestion- when the kids go shopping again give each one some post it(stickers) with their name on it. Each item they pick, they put their sticker with the name on it on the item.
This will help sort the clothes.

Next time you should make each kid have their own reusable bag and then when you go to check out have each kid put their clothes up one at a time and bag their own clothes that way you don’t have to guess who’s is who’s when you get home

For our son's senior pics we did a tuxedo shot-(the photographer actually had a a jacket/bow tie/shirt that we borrowed-so neck up shots), pics of him in his Cleveland Browns jersey and hat, pics of him on the golf course (that's his sport.)

I would have bagged each child's clothes separately after it was rung up and then labeled the bag with a sharpie.
My daughter did do and gown, couple out fits,
Letter man jacket, her color guard equipment, and Senior ring. My son did cap and gown, couple outfit, letter man jacket, band uniform and instruments he played and awards.

Zoey always questions why “girl clothes” are so tight and short and uncomfortable. I’m like, you know, you don’t have to wear clothes that society says you have to wear. Clothes are clothes!

I always say wear wherever makes your comfortable.. I wear men’s work pants and t-shirts .. cuz pockets for the pants and men’s shirts tend to have graphic tshirts I like

Just wondering if the kids could have picked out the clothes they chose once they got home rather than mom and dad having to remember who got what? That makes more sense and would have saved a lot of time.
Get them all a tote bag with there name on it for whenever you go shopping, they can all carry their own stuff in there named bags

Listening to you talk about Harlee and her clothing specifics reminds me of myself and my mother. I am also very tough to shop for because, not only is it hard to find clothes that fit, I'm very picky with what I will wear. Some items just feel weird, but we all go through phases!
Yes, Zoey was very similar at this age. I remember washing this one pair of my little pony leggings every night because that’s all she wanted to wear lol.

I wonder if bringing them in smaller groups would be a lot less stressful for you. Maybe just the girls, than the little boys than the older Boys. More trips but less stress and you would be able to help them easier.

Great haul!! I love the personality show in their clothing choices. And not bad on the price tag either!! I have Zoey taste but wish i had Bree's flair. Bohdi is going to look so cute in the fall. The twins are developing some really cool style taste. Everyone will look stylish going into the classroom for 2023-2024 (omg how is it already almost 2024!!!)

We just did sr pictures and already saw the proofs ❤❤❤ I’m not ready! 😢 my son did cap and gown and the tuxedo standard pictures he didn’t play sports and isn’t one for pictures but still fabulous pictures
The boys clothes go small medium large size 4-7 and then small medium large extra large from 8-20 so that’s why some small look huge and some tiny

Bree kicked shopping back to schools behind 😂 She was on a mission. Next year you could take two kids at a time. I know it woukd be 6 different trips but maybe that would eliminate the clothes confusion.

Love the outfits that was picked out. Bree had a major shopping score, loved all of her outfits and all on clearance, that was a great find and smart shopping and to find such pretty outfits also. For Senior pictures, you are right on track with the Jersey outfit, a couple casual outfits, maybe a Sunday like church outfit. I know when I had my Senior pictures, we did indoor and outdoor shots. I did a few pictures in my Band uniform for Marching and Concert uniform, I did one in my Prom dress, then I had casual and Sunday best outfits. Maybe have him and his girlfriend in like a Homecoming outfit and do pictures with the two of them together. Pictures on the football field maybe. Can't wait to see the next shopping blog with the other few teens that was not there on this shopping spree.

With my siblings I was the first, so we was kind of lost at everything that we had to do for Senior year, from Senior picture to Graduation announcements on how many to order to planning the graduation party and figure out menu and what to get and how much to get for the party. So with mine it was a learning experience to know what to do different for the last 3 siblings on what we might have forgotten or what needed to be improved on for the next child in line.
So, excited to see and watch all the kids grow and learn throughout the year. Can't wait to see Miss Harley on her first day of Kindergarten and to come home to tell you all about it.

My kids wear shorts all year…even though I wish they wouldn’t. For awhile I wouldn’t let them and they said “Mom, EVERYONE wears shorts in the winter!” I didn’t believe them. Until I went to school and saw everyone wearing shorts.😅 I guess upstate New Yorkers are built different.😂 Bree wears leggings under her shorts in the winter, it’s super cute.

how do you know what clothes belong to each kid when you dump the bags of clothes and are putting them in separate piles? Do you label their clothes so it is easier to tell them apart? I would be so lost having to decide who's is who's. God bless you and your husband.
