The twins needing socks every other shopping trip has got to be the funniest thing ever. What in the world do those kiddos do with their socks?! 🤣🤣
My daughter’s 25 year old partner is the same. It doesn’t matter how often you buy him a bulk buy of matching pairs of socks, he always loses one sock from every pair. He never has a matching pair, heavens knows what he does with them. The only other maddening issue is, he then sets his sights on my daughter’s socks!!!🤦♀️🇬🇧

I just adopted a mini English bulldog puppy from some Mennonites he was in a hot barn with no toys, no grass and he was so scared of everything and not even an hour after bringing him home he’s playing with all my dogs toys, laying on his new bed, loves tummy rubs so much he rolls over everytime we go near him And is so interested in everything he was even watching tv! And all I could think of was what you do for these kids making them feel special and important, getting them care packages when they come into your lives and opening a whole new world to them, always thinking of them, you completely changed their life and lifestyle and I hope to do that with my pup and rescue more animals in the future! Thanks for your inspiration I love your videos and your family is amazing like a family from a movie! 💞 I could totally see someone making a movie based off you guys!!! (Also no hate to Mennonites but a little shade towards the overheating, grass deprived puppies! Lol) 😂

Growing up we had to reuse our old school supplies unless we needed to get new ones. This taught me to really take care of my school supplies.
You and Josh are just the cutest couple 🤗. I loved y'all got to have a lunch date that is absolutely necessary at times. You both do so much for the kids. As soon as you started going over school supply list I went to my son's school page and lo and behold there's his was 🤣😂😅. He too will be going into third grade. My mom was my assistant principal every year until I went to high school, and then I told her she wasn't following me!! When you mentioned that Josh might be one of Nevaeh's teachers. It's hard to believe that Alex is already a junior 😧. Keep up the great work you're doing so amazing!!

As somebody from England I was shocked about how much stuff you have to buy for school. Here when kids are in primary school (age 4-11 ish) You don't have to buy anything and when they go to high school (11-16 ish) All you have to buy are the basics (pen pencil, rule) and optionally you could get highlighters etc (but not needed as the school will provided them). Things like notebooks/binders you absolutely do not need as they would never be used in school (These are really only used in college/university here, when it is more lectures and independent studying)
edit: this is just where I live in England not sure if everywhere is the same

I always just used the same stuff from the previous year! I had the same binders, folders and backpack for years! Only thing I needed was notebooks and maybe a few pens!

I randomly changed the channel to see what else was on and saw the footage of you all on channel 7s morning show. On the replay they sounded stunned but we who watch you all the time are not surprised by how organised you are every day. You would need to be with 12 children. For back to school shopping I find it helpful to make a master list of everything that everyone will need so I only have one list to worry about and then split it with the class lists.

Growing up we only went school supply shopping the day after the first day of school. Except for a backpack unless we needed it.
The first week of school me and my siblings would go to school w/our backpacks w/an old notebook, pencil/pen.
Then on the weekend, we’d go school supply shopping because then we’d have a list from the teacher(s).

Seeing all the school supplies reminds me of how nervous I'd be the day before the first day when I was putting my backpack together and would wonder/worry about how the year would go, but still be very much excited! Also I've never been to P.F. Chang's so I wasn't 100% sure when I saw the chicken, but in the back of my mind I thought it looked like shrimp 😅hope the leftovers of the meal you were suppose to get ended up being good!🥰

Lol I was a teacher and I and almost all the other staff couldn’t sleep the night before, thinking about what we were going to do, what any children be scared or nervous? Had we done everything in the holiday that needed to be done….I rarely teach children now and not often in a classroom, but I still feel itchy feet when the summer is over. It makes me want to go out and buy new pens, pencils, cute post it notes….
In the uk most schools provide everything for children from 2 to 11. Then 12 and up they’re expected to buy their own pencils, pens, ruler etc. but paint, paper, brushes, saws etc for woodwork, exercise books etc are free.
I used to do the order for our school of 375 children. To give every class enough stuff to last most of the year usually cost about £6000 which isn’t bad I don’t think. That was everything you could imagine except toilet rolls, that was a different budget. We had loads of spares too, early in February/March we would do a top up order, but that was mostly paper for displays.

I don't know how y'all do it, I only have 2 at home and I have to give them a budget and it's never going to include all name brand stuff, like nike, under armor, yeti etc, they might get one or two sets but the bulk of there stuff, we shop sales and like the store brand athletic wear. Academy has some very reasonable store brands usually right beside the nike and under armor racks. It's ok to tell children no or make a suggestion re. something they see and "want" vs a real need. I enjoy watching your family, you love the children like everyone should love their children.

I just graduated in May and honestly it was the best feeling since I have major social anxiety and I had a panic attack right when I got there and saw all the people and the teacher told me that it was not appropriate for me to do that there, like I cannot control my anxiety attacks like sorry. The only thing I miss about school is certain teachers that really actually cared about me and would let me vent and I really miss my friends I honestly wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my friends well and a cop in my town but yah.
I just hope your kiddos don’t have any issues with bullying like I did. I wish your kiddos that go into the new school year a safe year and fun year and hope they can make some really fun memories with their friends! Don’t wish that you want school to go by so fast cause you’ll miss it trust me. It just gets boring sitting at home and not going to school anymore. Have a great day everyone! :)
