Man, Rebecca Schaeffer was such a stunning beautiful young lady and she was great in this show as Patti. Unfortunately, it didn't last longer than 2 seasons and she was tragically murdered around the same time. I think she was going to be in Godfather Part 3, so no telling what her future would've been like had she still been alive. RIP to Rebecca Schaffer and shoutout to Happy Days franchise legend Pam Dawber as well.
The 2nd season of My Sister Sam wasn't helped by CBS switching the timeslot. Previously it had aired in the middle of a sandwich between their popular sitcoms Kate And Allie and Newhart on Monday nights, hence why it got the ratings. CBS decided to move it to Saturday night instead, which pitted it against The Facts of Life, part of NBC's strong comedy block on Saturday.
Thirty-five years later and Patti still takes my breath away walking down those stairs.
