Volvo S60R/V70R! One of my fav cars of all time! One of the best 5 Cylinder engines out there!
Nothing compared to any Audi Quattro though. Especially the 10V and S1.

I mean youre comparing apples to anvils. Ive owned the s60r and i own an audi now. Id love to have my s60r back as well, theyre not in the same category aside from being boosted awds. You couldve kept that to yourself and not been that guy.

@@Emils_-hu5un Nah its volvos own creation. Ford even used it in the focus rs at one time. Great engine, very flat torque curve. Apparently volvos 2.4 was even stronger unless you used the dart sleeves on the 2.5. Unfortunately the haldex awd wasnt up to the task of harnessing the power from this setup. Mine would break loose all 4 during boost weather. Fun times.
6:24 I gotta say yes on this cuz TDI engines are better leafblowers bcs TDI engines are very easy to modify so u can trasform ur regular golf to a powerful leafblower

I would love those on my Maxima, but I bet they are really expensive and wouldn't actually save me money.

5:45 This is actually a great demonstration as to why you should never have your back window or lift gate/rear hatch open when you drive these kind of vehicles, like an SUV, a van, or a hatchback car

@@joans.cerdan8162 The air pressure behind the car is lower, so it sucks the exhaust gases upwards and keeps them behind the hatch. If the hatch is open, the exhaust will go into the car. And it's not only when you are waiting at the traffic light. It get's worse the faster you drive!
When the car passes the camera you can see the sud (smoke) coming from the exhaust and a second cloud formed behind the hatch. When the car passes you can see how black the hatch is from all the exhaust gasses being there.
I once transported a couch in an mk4 Golf hatchback. It was so long, the hatch had to stay open a little bit. The low pressure made the exhaust gas enter the cabin. It got worse the faster we drove. At 90 mph (150kmh) it was as unbearable. We rolled both front windows down, so the air pushes the exhaust gasses out and even that didn't help completely.

if it had rear windows to put down youd been better off I think. This is just another reason why mini trucks are superior, no fumes in from the back with the rear glass open. No wind buffeting either..

The hybrid type R is super cool. If you set it up correctly, you could flat-foot shift and the EV motors would stay on in-between shifting gears. The type R is an amazing track car, as long as you keep the weight down I wonder what AWD does to it.
