Those flowers are really sweet! Is it free standing? I just have a beautiful fence climbing clematis with big white flowers but it seems my neighbor’s gardener mistakenly trimmed the trunks a few years ago. It made a come back but not fully. I sure love it and plan to plant more but not on the fence. Your Alpina Clematis is beautiful. Thanks for your video.
I want this Clematis to cover our shed and we are still debating if we should buy and install a trellis or use some wire to guide it. Those wooden stakes did the job of keeping it off the ground until now. I'm sorry about your white Clematis, I also tend to use them to cover the fence. You could try growing on that fence the type 3 Clematis that need a full trim every year. Thank you for the lovely comment!
@@FrenchGarden Thanks for that idea. I will look those up. I love the idea of your Clematis growing up and onto the shed. I also follow this other incredible gardener, Deb Silver and she used bamboo shoots to give her Mandevilla something sturdy to grow up. The bamboo seemed pretty sturdy. Maybe you could use some twine if you can hammer unto the shed. You have a really beautiful garden. I love the variety too!

@@GoldenPowergardensThank you! I didn't consider bamboo, but it could work. I also enjoy watching other gardeners as there is so much to learn.
