I'm amazed that there aren't any boards other than the Genesis built this way. It makes sense for commuting because you can ollie up a curb without having to stop and pick up your board. There are some streets in SF that are just downright scary, I'd rather be on the sidewalk.
I was thinking about doing this, but my blink lite broke down for the 2nd time recently, I'm gonna repair it myself this time, I'm just glad my evolve doesnt break down so frequently like the blink lite does
@@anglerandy5736 man this was two years ago, but IIRC I think one of the components on the board let out the magic smoke (blew up) possibly a big ass capacitor? the only thing I really remember clearly is that whatever component it was let out a really foul smell so you might be able to identify it that way (just sniff all the parts on the circuit board haha).

Hey Fabian man sick video I love that someone finally had the idea to make a normal skateboard that is electric so in my theory I'm thinking that type of board is not the type of board that you're going to want to travel around town with like you said it's a normal skateboard that's electric and what do you do with the normal skateboard... In Generals you just right at the skatepark it's not made for getting around town that's what I'm normal electric skateboards for now if you utilize that function and use that type of board at the skatepark you become incense a different type of skater because now you don't just have to kick and push everywhere around skatepark to do tricks now you can use the electric skateboard to roll up to your rail if it has incense a different type of skater because now you don't just have to kick and push everywhere around skatepark to do tricks now you can use the electric skateboard to roll up to your rail if it has a short run up or even coming up to a manual pad to do a trick this way it's makes it easier if you can get used to it to where you don't have to kick and push around the skatepark all the time I think that's amazing and I would love to see you actually do an X Games type of street tricks or Street League type of competition on electric skateboards I think that might be the next big thing in skateboarding let me know your thoughts get back to me if you read this love the video man and PS I live in Monterey California which is right next to San Francisco if you ever come down here to check out the aquarium everything or anything let me know maybe we can go push around I'll show you the local skate park in Monterey it's a little small but you might be able to utilize it

Yeah it's ridiculous they don't make electric "Regular" boards! I've been searching for one since the inception of electric boards.. the only one available is the Genesis Stinger.. however I'm not completely sold on the quality and specs of it.. Other than that it's the MELLOW Drive but that thing is damn near 2 grand U.S... so what to do now lol

Thats exactly what I did. The deck it comes with is sh!t. Doesn't absorb and vibrations. Now its small enough to travel, you can push and Hub motors. :) Great set up to cruise around or for trips.
Lol I am working on a electric skateboard company with REAL SKATEBOARDS NOT LONGBOARDS top speed of 35mph for almost 8 miles! Like if this sounds like a good idea and I will keep going
unfortunately, with such a high top speed I cannot add a big enough battery to go 15 miles with the size of board I am working with, although we will also be coming out with a longboard version with a much further range nearly 25 miles and about the same top speed, also when I say 8 miles or 25 miles that is going at about 30 mile speed
