For those that cant get critical decorations to drop before you hit furious rajang. I would recommend going shara greaves, to get your critical boost to at least 2. then using expert decorations and weakness exploit decorations. (use a necklace) if you cant get that to drop decorations either. Making those swaps i was still able to kill my tempered zinogre in 9 minutes and would still land decent 106 damage crits. Also beat raging brachydios and the furious golden rajang with this build. So essentially im using the 4 piece azure age set but swapping out the greaves for the chest piece and using the shara greaves and stacking every critical eye/element of choice decoration i can find If you have room just fill it with vitality if u can. Also if ur farming zinogre for decorations take slider and jumper in your decorations. Trust me Ive seen multi crits on the back for 90-100 hit a slash.

You don't need Shaver on DB, as they have a 5 move combo that does a garunteed tenderize. In demon mode, O > O > O > L2 > O. This will tenderize whatever part you claw onto every single time. Shaver jewel you also can't meld until you hit Guiding Lands anyway, so that can't even be used early and mid Iceborne. Once you hit MR17, just farm up 2 Piece Velkhana and 3 Piece Teo for Critical Element and Masters Touch. Optionally at MR20, swapping the 3 piece Teo for 2 Piece Nami for Element Acceleration, though then you'll want the Sharp Jewel for Protective Polish, as Sharpness will take a hit. Then hitting MR24, farm up Safi armour, and by that point, you should be able to do the MR Kulve Taroth event quest when it rolls around. 5 Piece Safi+Kjarr weapons or 3 Piece Safi+2 Piece Velkhana up until Fatalis. Post Fatalis, it's just Fatalis armour+Kjarr because Fatalis armour. All of the highest damage DB builds are using Kjarr weapons (aside from dragon which can use Kjarr, Alatreon or Fatalis).

You're right but shaver is just easier for annoying fast enemies.
