Thanks Roy. Answered all my questions before I finished my coffee. Time to spring into action. Have a good day
Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Great vid. You've convinced me; I'll just change the outer tie rod, struts, etc..
Bending those washers is crazy but overall I'd rate this a 3/10 for difficulty. Good video.

This was a great video and yeah that specialty tool made all the difference. I’ve got to replace my inner tie rod on the right side of a 1998 Toyota Camry that has the 3.0 v-6 with less room. Oh boy
I believe in you, let me know how it goes and thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Excellent job,,,very understanding,,,,and professional thanks so much,,,,,
Great video 💯💯
Hey Roy. Thanks for the info. What happens if the tie rod end replacement is longer. Am I ok to install this as close to original angle if I bring it in for alignment after?
Perfect video for my job on my car.
I took my 1999 Toyota Corolla LE to get new tires the guy in the shop put the tires on where I couldn't see I wasn't allowed in there he wrote down in the comments I have a loose inner tie rod end could that be because someone didn't fold the washer over or maybe they're a scamming place loosen it up for me they told me it would be $100 for alignment I didn't ask about the job.
To me that sounds a little strange, if your tie rod is loose you can’t align the car. It is possible that it could come loose if the washer wasn’t bent over because that’s what it’s purpose is but I’ve never seen one unbent and every mechanic knows to bend it. I don’t know what to say about that shop you went to but if you feel it’s shady, definitely find yourself a more reputable place! Thanks for always watching, I appreciate the support! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
How much for do my car just like this?
Where did you get the black tool to remove that? And the parts you installed?
I got it all from a local parts store,m. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
There is this tool, called a torque wrench. Perhaps you've heard of it? The spec. for the inner tie rod was 61'/lb, the jam nut should have been 74'/lb, and the outer tie rod castle nut was 36'/lb...
Is the out tie rod cast nut the nut that he put the tie rod tool on?
