- The security element to identify the original Dior Sauvage perfume is the serial number on the bottom of the bottle.... take something sharp and scratch it... if it is erased it is with paint and it is fake... if it remains it is engraved and the Dior Sauvage perfume is original.

Quick question I ran upstairs checked my exact savage and you can’t scratch anything off, but it doesn’t say Christian Dior is mine in between. Is it fake it smells great but it was nothing scratch. It was just had a light number on it but nothing you could scratch off it’s more the second one than the first one.

The worst thing is to try the fake and confirm that it is in fact better than the original, especially for those with refined taste. I have used a variety of original and counterfeit perfumes and in this specific case, this perfume far surpassed the original.
the problem is that the seller will never let you perform some of the tests 😔 We all want to save money but it is just safer to buy from the standard Retailers when it comes to these types of products.

There are many fake perfumes sold on Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc. Places like Marshall's as well. I inadvertently bought a fake perfume from Marshall's before. Smells similar to the real thing, but not quite. And the fragrance lasted like one hour.
Now I only buy from Macy's Dillard's, or Ulta Beauty.

Yes, I know that. I should have clarified that. I don't buy "eau de toilette", which is pretty weak, but should still last 4 hrs. I generally buy "eau de parfum" which can last 8 hrs or more...
When I do have money, I splurge on parfums.
The replicas are insanely good these days!
A bottle is one thing, but what the mystery liquid inside contains would make a rational person concerned.

On the original, the number is pressed in; on the fake, it is only printed, which you can feel and see.

Ese no es El motivo del video cual quiere comprar! Es cuando te venden algo por original con un poco de rebaja y si no sabe diferenciar sale estafado por unos pesos más puede tener la original.

On the original the notches on the bottlecap are more noticeable while the fake is less
My brother wear this perfume and it gaves me headaches. It's strong but the thing I like about it is that it's a long lasting.
It don't last 2hrs what u on about I got mine from the shop so I no it's real yet the smell don't last

Here in india, they buy authentic bottles and refill with cheap juice that slightly resemble the original smell during the initial spray and wont last more than few minutes on your skin.
They both smell the exact same thing …. So I’m saving money 😂

When I first tried Amethyst, it smelled immediately started off like "purple bug spray" to me. After I left it alone for a few months, it smelled like heavy rose and very light oud (almost undetectable) but still like chemicals. I would not buy it personally. I just can't imagine getting any compliments at all with it.

In Singapore, there’s a place, called Mustaffa and there’s alot of counterfeit perfume sold there and the quality is terrible!
I have both the Parfum and the Elixir both from the Dior Counter at Manchester Airport and Neither of them have any of the writing around the base of the bottle.

Una cosa es Botella Original y otra cosa es el Perfume Original. Acá en México te venden Perfume falso en botellas originales. Deberían de hacer videos también de como saber que un Perfume es falso a partir del líquido y no de la botella.

Los olores son idénticos... pero después de 5 minutos el perfume falso no dura nada... no vale la pena escatimar en unos dólares extra... el perfume original dura incluso 24 horas en la ropa... ni hablar las enfermedades de la piel puedes contactar... y hay ciertos casos en los que no se libraron de ellas en toda su vida...
