Maybe you should get a cat companion to travel with you. That would deter the mice for sure . If you're not a cat person then I would by some of those cheap wooden mouse traps and set a few out with peanut butter on them. That way for a minimal price you may be able to end that problem. Good luck!
No cats in dessert!! We lose them to coyotes all the time out here!!! Get peppermint oil! Put all around tires and keep a light under vehicle and in your engine with hood up.

You can put a couple of buckets half filled with water. The mice need water, they climb in and drown. That's been my method and I live off grid here in Arizona and mice are a major problem. They will even eat the wires in your vehicle. Good luck with your mouse prevention.

The buddy heater is pretty clutch! Told ya 😎. My van is a no build because I have to put in a bunch of large stuff inside of it at times for work. But I like adventures so it also has to be slept in. That lil heater takes up very little space. Love that thing. Great video

Try recharging solar string lights around the vehicle 🚐 Rodents are nocturnal (move around at night) so if you put light around your vehicle they will avoid the light, hence stay away from your Van.
If you have budy heater on all night, you should leave one of your windows slightly open to get some fresh air coming in, glad you had company for Thanksgiving.

In my experience, black cat traps are the best for catching mice on the inside. I use a cheap string of walmart LED Christmas lights under my van to keep the mice out at night. Just lay them on the ground under the van, plug them in. Done. Mice don't like the light.

I’ve watched a TON of videos of people testing them for carbon monoxide & None of them found any! (I do have a CO detector though. Also,I’m almost positive they have built in auto shut offs for low oxygen levels. My daughter & her wife also have a channel on YT called “Sam & Alyssa”. Hey ! Before you park Also sprinkle cayenne pepper or other hot hot pepper everywhere on your parking space /tires. Home Depot sells a large can of black pepper oil spray for sniffy type creatures😂. Stay safe sweet pea.
Dying to find out if the critters are foiled by your tire barriers. I've been lucky so far in that my bus is so high off the ground the critters haven't found a way in yet. A couple of spiders successfully infiltrated by they got annihilated before they could escape and report back to Critter Command.

One solution for mice, rats, squirrels & other unwanted animals while traveling & living in your Van is ammonia in a spray bottle. Spray your tires & a bit around them on the ground. 😊 No Mo Pests ! First spraying order will be noticable, but after a while you yourself won't smell it, however it will deter the pest.
Call me old fashioned, but I use the wooden traps from dollar general or dollar tree, 4 to a pack. I put peanut butter in the slot and put a couple under the hood. Just don’t forget and drive off!

If you look in the engine on the wall that separates the engine and the front cab there's electric plugs sometimes that fall out and mice could get in there, are they still getting in?
I had a male cat who liked to eat mice & birds. I had 2 save the birds, but he can have the mice. Vet said it was good 4 him. He was a traveling cat since 6 weeks old.
What a pleasant treat after that sickening encounter with the creep in the atv, I’m still shook by that video but I’m gonna try to get in a positive flow watching this much more pleasant video 😱😊

Yes, get a cat - he/she will run any all animals out of the van, including insects!
