    I did a Christmas tree in those colours one year but with the addition of chartreuse and OMG it was gorgeous! Copper, purple, and chartreuse.

    What a journey you took us on! I’m almost dizzy. Feel like we wandered off plan for a while (nothing wrong with that) but you layered our way out of the forest (one place interesting stuff always happens) with the gorgeous bronze and violet, I think, and we ended up in a remarkable, previously undiscovered land of dark, shining geometric-organic vistas! 🎈🤸‍♂️🎈🤸‍♂️🎈

    Instead of telling people to discard the Mylar sheets, what about telling them that they may have other uses? I store cling stamps on mine, for instance, and have used them to divide paper files into sections? You can cut them into homemade stencils, etc. I know you need to discourage storing with gel plates but I worry about all the plastic that ends up in our oceans and landfills. Thanks, Elizabeth 😘

      OH I LOVE THIS LYNN I am with you about trash. I used to mix paint on them until I couldn't use them anymore. I like it!

    Hi Elizabeth, am really enjoying your straight-to-the point, no fuss tutorials, they are super helpful and inspiring. I have not yet used my brand new gelli plate. Unfortunately I threw out the clamshell when I got it. It is resting still flat between the two see-through plastic sheets. Do you have any other suggestions on how to store it properly if one does not have the clam shell? Thank you from Canada.

      Hello Canada! Oh gosh well get rid of the Mylar sheets because they can stick. Ranger makes a metal tin you can use to store the 8x10 but I have not used it so I cannot give you a review. Hi Elizabeth, thanks for the quick reply, made me happy! Initially I got rid of the clamshell because I couldn’t stand all the plastic. But now I may have to invest into a tin box, oh my, will look into it. Thanks again. Hugs.

      @@evetei you’re so welcome! I hear you. My clamshells fall apart after a while too. I stored them between palette paper sheets which put wrinkles in the surface!! Maybe you can find something to the tin around the house! I’m happy to make you smile. 😊

    I thought a soft Brayer was best for gel printing. Which do you prefer?

    Oh s☆☆t. I had my Gelli plates for a few years now and didn't know not to keep the info sheet and the plastic sheets separately. Is there a reason please?

    • @ElizabethStHilaire
      @ElizabethStHilaire  3 роки тому +1

      you can pursue that question with Gel Press, they just advise to remove them as they are ONLY part of the manufacturing process and not intended to stay on the plate. Not sure why. I just follow directions. They are very firm about not keeping them on the plate.
