Thank you for explaining the paint which I didn't understand and thanks for explaining how to work with the gel press..and that you dry after you work with the punchenella I get that mixed up too LOL ....thanks so much....
I worked in a fabric store that sold punchinella - and only bought one size! One of those odd regrets! LOL! I LOVE how this turned out. Every time you added another row of color, it became richer and richer! Beautiful!!!
Isn’t that funny? I don’t think you can even find it in fabric stores anymore, I have looked. Did you have it on Amazon in some different sizes, but you do have to buy the entire spool of it which is a lot! Thanks for your compliments and for watching Kathleen!
Beautiful colour combo! I would have chosen the very safe titan buff so watching your videos has really expanded my colour horizons , helping me make braver colour choices!
I ordered a pack, then came to see your video. I knew it was going to be good because you put it out there. No pressure of course 😉 Many many thank yous to Gail also.
Another great tutorial. Not only are they always informative they’re great fun to watch. Sometimes your ‘turns of phrase’ make me laugh but ‘maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner’ (Flanagan and Allen)
Yes! We have odd expressions as do you. I spent a semester in London while attending university and then another six months after I graduated on a working visa. Your turns of phrase made me laugh as well! ☺️
@@ElizabethStHilaire Lucky you!! I was just watching another video of yours using your stencils … I love them too!! Playing with the gelli plate and stencils is addicting!! I am having so much fun … love watching you … thank you!!
Sent you a message and also love that brayer! I need (haha, I always say that if you want something bad enough, it becomes a need, especially arts/crafts supplies!)
Dang-it! On Feb 1, Rubber Moon went off-line. Can still get to inventory thru owner’s patron site. Times r TUFF. Luv your rubber stamps almost as much as your stencils.
I think that you only have to sign on as a two dollar a month Patron or something very low. If you want to have access to the rubber stamps. :-) I do love the rubber stamps as well
that stuff is VINTAGE, not sure you can find it. we offered 70 packets of it to my mailing list peeps, you should get on the list for future offers: eepurl.com/gLb8pj
I was surprised the warm colors were as dark as they were on the pulled print. Was that because of the teal between the dots and the paper? Nice demonstration with a lovely result.
Elizabeth, this turned out so amazing! Since your friend rant out of Punchinella :-(, I managed to find some on Etsy, but not that large hole once that I really want...oh well. I can’t wait to get the Punchinella so I can try out this technique. I think have all those Golden colours.
I love this idea ❤️ thanks for sharing this video with us. I'm a beginner in mixed media art journaling and gel plating. Do you use a regular make up sponge to sponge on the paint? Would it make a difference between a makeup sponge and a art sponge? Sorry for all the questions.
I use makeup sponges for the consistency of the foam. I am not sure what an art sponge is? :) no worries. the sponges I use are on my Amazon Art Supply Resource Page: www.amazon.com/shop/paper-paintings-collage-artwork
I got several pieces from a vintage stash of a retired schoolteacher. But you can also buy it online on Amazon on a roll. Look under Gel Printing here www.amazon.com/shop/paper-paintings-collage-artwork

I was surprised the warm colors were as dark as they were on the pulled print. Was that because of the teal between the dots and the paper? Nice demonstration with a lovely result.
probably due to the fact that the warm colors are translucent pigments so the teal does multiply through them. thank you!
Looks Fantabulous!! Love it!
