Ditch those CA license plates asap if you move to ID. Dangerous levels of hostility from ID drivers directed at the cause of all their problems . . . Californians.
Ive seen this comment many times and it just highlights so many of the problems with Idahoans beliefs and understanding about why their state is changing. Yeah, so easy to blame Californians for everything but when Corey Barton (CBH) and others were buying up thousands of acres of land to develop it, where were Idahoans complaints then?? Nonexistent is where because they sold their land at a significant profit to make this possible. The developments began at this point, not the pre or post construction phases so the momentum of change had already begun. This state has also fared reasonably well for this recession because of the housing increases. People moved here, creating a need for services and more development that otherwise wouldnt have existed. This state would have been decimated without the influx of new people. 33% of you or more would have lost your jobs. And this influx isnt all Californian. No problem with libs from Oregon and Washington coming in??? They’re here too and they are a far larger danger to your way of life than a Californian is. Lastly, while Idahoans just want to be left alone in a less restrictive state, you have the nerve to complain about someone’s license plates?? Not all about you and what you want or would like to see. Isnt it funny that the very people who insult Californians at every step are the very same people not welcoming people, and judging people solely because of a 5x9 sheet of metal with the word “California” stamped on it. Pretty hypocritical no?
