senegal, ghana, Ivory Coast, nigeria....The level of talent in west Africa is incredible ! The cost of life and abysmal level of wealth of local competitions makes it easy and cheap to poach talent from there!

Last FM I bought a croatian lb for 67.5k. 2/3 years later, after just one season playing in my first squad I sold him to PSG for 60M€. I was at FC Porto, but still... It's incredible what you can find in these situations.
The big teams in Portugal are talent factories, even when controlled by the AI they tend to get 50 million pounds from transfers every season while their squads don’t lose any strength
@@deeznoots6241 for sure! This FM I'm not seeing that so frequently, but I still managed to produce (and see my rivals do the same) a couple of top talents.
Signed a regen from Crusaders in Northern Ireland for £12k. After winning the Champions League with Hearts, he's now a 5* world-class midfielder and valued at £40m :-)

Signed a wonderkid right-winger from Glenavon for 74K. Sold him 4 years later for 75M.
When I did a Brazil save in FM 2019 I would search a max domestic release clause of 250k. This brought forward a load of 15 and 16 year olds who had not yet signed professional deals. By the time I left my team 3 years later I went from a relegation battle to the best youth teams in the country and a side with the oldest player being 24 winning copa L and the league. I spent a total of £25mil over the 3 years. Since I started my save (i have played 5 years since) they have sold 27 players for £10m+ each. It may have been removed in 2020 but deffo worth a look.

Adding onto that. It’s similar and probs will be covered but how to tweak your tactics. What I mean by this is identifying problems in the tactic and changing it to improve it as the save progresses
FM Base what tactics works together? e.g Target man and direct passing and what don’t e.g slow. Center back in a high defensive line.
@@oisinquinn9469 im sure im very ignorant on this and I'd like to know his input, but I always thought that just depended on the strengths of your players but certainly a slow centerback on a high line might be bad if his tackling is bad and/or aerials are bad

on fm19 signed a nobody called ziyad chibout (not a regen) for derby county for £200k. went on to become my captain and once got 3rd in africa’s best midfielder award. will always be a cult player for me since he came from nowhere and, although he was never my best played, was consistent and even once had one stellar season where he scored 20 goals from cm in the prem. fm hero

happened to me yesterday. Started a season with 15 games without a loss then after the first loss went 15 games without a win.
Subtitle: “Why the morale system is broken in FM20.”
Heres what I do when that happens. Change your tactic for 2-3games. Something really simple 4-4-2 , use cautious or defensive. Then go back to your original tactic that your players are familiar with.

I still remember back in FM11 I bought a regen called Shinji Yamada for £10k from Japan, ended up selling him for more than £10m to Man United a few years later. He was a striker and had pace, acceleration, agility and finishing all at 19 or 20.
A good video would be one of the most common frustrations, 'What to do when your team is dominating games but not scoring/winning'. Tutorial on how to diagnose what's going wrong with your finishing.
There is nothing better than getting a cheap Brazilian star player though, managed to net a first team player for my Portuguese premier league team for just a million quid, foreign release clause was 16 million(aka half a years income for my team at the time) but his domestic release clause was just 500k so when a Brazilian team triggered that release clause i jumped right in with the offer of 1 million which they accepted(presumably with extreme frustration at that other Brazilian club)
I was rinsing European superclubs in my Gremio save long before it was cool. LOL
I'm glad we've seen this correction though, given some of the fees paid in real life for the best teenage Brazilian players.

Southern Africa, South Africa have produce me some good gems signed for banana boxes. FFA School of excellence in Australia used to be gold mine, they have rebranded and is now called something else. I reckon I’ve picked up 3-4 players that managed to win the golden boy award in their rookie season with me.
It'd be very helpful if you could make a video on match preparation. Like, how you use the reports on the opposition, how you tweak your strategy to deal with different opponents, etc.

Im a former FM player, I do game since 97 edition (old championship manager days)
I'd like to say that Uruguayan and Colombian Leagues are probably good for this purposes (cheap wonderkids), these countrys have a lower economy budget than region and that helps buying players with a lot lower ammount of money.
Josh Zirkzee is 100% a top wonderkid. Signed him for £10m and he scored 4 in a 7-1 win over Spurs as Southampton. 😬
I haven't got the scouting range to scout these countries but went to them and took a few punts on a couple. N so far they came good. Thanks. Hopefully though as I rise through the leagues I can send a proper scout out n not just go at it blind lol

For the Compensation vs proper transfer part, another important part is that the Compensation comes with a "15% from profit of next sale" clause, so if you're running a team of buying youngsters for nothing to develop and sell them for a lot of money, you can avoid losing that 15% for a little higher fee.
You've missed the best spot for cheap youngsters in Europe, Portugal. Every year there will be at least 5 or 6 wonderkids you can pick up for dirt cheap there.

LEVITATE yeah, you need to get in before Benfica, Porto and SCP snag them. Lots of good players at the smaller Portuguese clubs available for cheap
The US can be a good spot too. If you get them young enough, you can spend literally $0 on a player. MLS doesn't follow compensation rules for youth.
Watching Zealand videos about wonderkids it's like having a scout with 20 youngsters knowledge
Should try scouting the Japan and Korea region as they pop out some decent regens from time to time.
Hey, also wai for intake in brazil, so wonderkids can show up in smaller teams so they are easier to catch.

I've found a few decent players from Wales, literally just by mass-scouting players between 15 and 17 around youth intake day.
As a secondary goal in my Swansea save I've been trying to cultivate welsh youth, and even the second tier of Welsh football can produce some gems, for absolute peanuts.
There's an absolute tonne of dross though.
Best Player so far was a Striker from Ecuador I got for cheap that just left on his $8 Million release clause to PSG. I'm Austin FC in MLS too, so you know we ain't got cash to splash!

Scandinavia also worth a mention imho. Pretty much all EU for registration purposes, easily covered by 1 scout and plenty of good talents.
For me personally Eastern Europe is a go to place for quality players. Fairly cheap to buy, and easier to sell because some leagues have cap for players outside of EU, and most of Eastern Europe countries are in EU so many more clubs can approach to sign them and be within the foreign player cap per club.
I had a 19-year-old regen called Tom Obed from.. Micronesia. It's not even a FIFA nation, but they are in the game. He went on to become a Man Utd legend worth 100 million euros.
What really shocks me from this video is watching an american guy having some knowledge about geography
For Eastern Europe because of the amount of countries AND help with registration/ work permits. I tend to have multiple scouts on them with about 5 countries per scout.
Last FM (which I am still playing, I haven't bought the 20 yet) I signed 3 Dutch players (one CD, one LW and one ST) for 2M in total, ended up selling them for a combined 100M (to PSG and Barcelona).
I was at Benfica and it was my best season on FM ever, I won the champions league!
I always forget which scouts are where so give them a nickname such as ‘Mr West Africa’ (can’t just call them West Africa or Scandinavia because they’re humans!). Really helps with organising them.

There are a lot of different levels of wonderkids. Everyone in a while one comes and long and is better than every player on your team
Colombia; Chile; Peru; Venezuela; Uruguay,,,, check the u21 teams and scout all the regen players!!! Colombia has so many cheap high potential players!!
Can you do a series on the Scottish league? As a Scottish football fan who does not support rangers or Celtic, I'd love it if you could take a look at the teams, see if you could take a club (ideally Dundee United as they're my team 🧡🖤) and stop rangers or Celtic dominating the league and cups. Awesome video! I have a question though, do you have every single league ticked before starting the save? Does this impact scouting/finding players in this region if you don’t have Croatian/Slovakian leagues enabled for example?
When scouting these regions, do you have to have any of their leagues loaded? or does this not effect anything?

if you dont have the leagues loaded you will only get like the 20-50 best players from a region

If you could do tutorials on using the pre game editor that would be amazing! There's so many experiments I want to try but I'm not very good with the whole editor thing. On Fm19 I had a Czech regen in my Birmingham City save (Petr Hrabina, God bless his name), I signed him in the second season for 9mil, won me the FA Cup the first year, next year won me the Prem and then I sold him for 80mil. Only afterwards I realised it was the biggest mistake I could ever make
Important detail: right after I signed him I took a screenshot and posted it on am Fm facebook group and see what people think of him. The majority said he wasn’t good enough for the Prem. They were proved wrong

At the start I was so overwhelmed by the games depth but slowly getting the hang of it after 200 hours of tearing my hair out and mistaningly buying bad players for 20 million. Well, I'm pillaging Mali for years in FM 🤣
From FM 15 to 19 I had my favourite player there, Abdulaye Sissoko and he was a cheap signing for most of my lower league team and eventually becomes a player on championship lvl which can be sold for approx. 5 mil pounds.
Nowadays, for my International Madrid save I use mezzalas from Peru and Mali (Peru is a great country to scout for cheap mf), my dcs are from Portugal (bought them as a young talents from second division which I always look up) and I take my pride in my st called Robert Pandza (Swiss international) which I bought for 350k and who is 35 mil worth complete forward and won 2 golden boots 😜
So my recommendations: SA - Peru, Eastern Europe, Western Africa and a lower league Portugal (and always spice it up with Swiss and Austria, they tend to have a great and cheap talent).

If i play in the lower leagues of England, I always look to N. Ireland for regens. They tend to show up with a fair few decent talents and are always dirt cheap

I won the champions league first season 2019/2020 with Celtic... Leo Sane 2.6 million release clause goes up to 20 million in value after one season. I didn't spend outrageously I've just created the best tactic 👌

Scouted this Hungarian kid as Chelsea at the start of a new save now I’m begging he doesn’t go up in value before the embargo is lifted (he’s got at least 4* potential)
I'd like to see a vid on how to maintain morale, this seems to inexplicably drop over time despite initially doing well. So when to use team talks and which options to use, and are there any hints on what personality types to use in personal chats, e.g. some players seem to dislike being congratulated on making their international debut.

What I did on fm19 is look at national teams. I managed to get a 16 year old free agent playing in the czech u19 team and also got an attached armenian who was 17 or 18 in the national team for a grand price of £0 as hus value was next 2 nothing
Can you show us your Belarus save? I took Shahkter Soligorsk too the Semi's in CL on FM16 built up the league rep, so I had 3 teams going into CL. Dished off my cast offs to the rest of the league to strengthen it.
