My lifelong dream came true at 62. I have a Revolt. I know it is pricy but the build, materials and construct are the best. You still "get what you pay for". Also learning how to fly the way Larry and his experienced instructors teach is top notch. He is really genius. A trike is not for everyone but the view is unmatched. The "motorcycle of the sky". I have a quarter million miles on bikes and always wanted the third dimension. I am happy with my choice and having the time of my life. Your mileage may vary. P.S. I cannot charge but I can take you for a ride.

I bet that 5 blade prop costs north of $5,000, the wing more than $10K. The engine is listed as $26,836.
Then there’s the build. Qualified aeronautical engineers don’t come cheap and a lot of precision work goes into building that thing. Instrumentation (you priced any of that gear?) Sure, I know it seems like a lot less for your money than a Merc or Beemer, but they’re produced in far, far greater numbers.
