I remember when so many UA-camrs were struggling with the 'Adpocalypse' era where UA-cam was demonetizing everything and you were always positive and kept making content.

I was fascinated by so much of what you said, but a couple of things in particular: You mentioned being embarrassed of success (even when you recognize that you’ve earned it). I see that as a sign of humility, which is certainly a good thing. I always appreciate those who are grateful for their success and pay it forward, which I know you are and you do. Also, I like what you said about taking advice. Not all advice is good advice. But being open to it, keeping an open mind, is important, as is not automatically discounting advice based on the person’s age or station in life. Great ideas can come from surprising places. Thank you for talking about this, I began youtube in 2009 but my flaw was deleting channels and videos and that led to me getting nowhere, I was dealing with major anxiety over the years, better now and I've finally found a way to push myself to getting somewhere not just on UA-cam but everywhere else.

Truly appreciate this video. It’s been a tough road for me creating content because recently I had to take down many videos because the industry I’m in restricts us from posting certain types of videos. I’m in the real estate title industry and we’re basically “controlled” by the Department of Insurance so apparently I can’t tie in what I do to any of the videos I post. I’ve been in a discouraged slump for several months now so this video inspired me to not stay in this negative mindset and start creating more content (that is compliant with my industry 🙄). It has not been until the last year that I have finally been gaining some traction on my page and although it's not much, I am happy with it. I am starting to understand what you mean though... I see that certain videos get more attention than others but they are not always the videos I want to be making. Then when I do put a lot of effort into a video, it does not get the same attention. May I add that the quality of your videos, regardless of their subject, is incredible : the sharp picture, the lighting, the crisp sound, the editing, the montages, the music always perfectly fitting... Everything is adjusted like it has to be and it seems that changing just a bit of it wouldn't be wise. I am watching your latest drone video and it's another piece of art ! Truly appreciate this video. It’s been a tough road for me creating content because recently I had to take down many videos because the industry I’m in restricts us from posting certain types of videos. I’m in the real estate title industry and we’re basically “controlled” by the Department of Insurance so apparently I can’t tie in what I do to any of the videos I post. I’ve been in a discouraged slump for several months now so this video inspired me to not stay in this negative mindset and start creating more content (that is compliant with my industry 🙄). I have been following you since the first vidicon and been following your journey!!! You rock. I work full time as a nursre but have always wanted to get into UA-cam. It has not been until the last year that I have finally been gaining some traction on my page and although it's not much, I am happy with it. I am starting to understand what you mean though... I see that certain videos get more attention than others but they are not always the videos I want to be making. Then when I do put a lot of effort into a video, it does not get the same attention. Obviously I am not at your level at all but I appreciate you talking about it because I do feel like I am going through some of this stuff... Keep up the videos iJ! :)) You got my support 100%
