Thanks, as always Michael You are do kind...I swear you haven't missed commenting on every one of my videos for months and months. Appreciation my friend. :)
Hey there! Couldn't help it with the joke - almost cut it out but figure to just let it fly. Those rode Wireless Go's are pretty nice. I hope your students appreciate your efforts. :)
Oh I have to go look at THIS! $99??? Seriously??? Love the stepless audio level adjustment. Also diggin' the sliding mount. Very useful for shooting on different cameras or on a rig. And it actually sounds downright decent the way you have it mounted as a studio mic as well. I actually prefer AAA batteries, since I can carry backups for very little cost. Been using Eneloop rechargeables for all my mics for years. VERY useful video. Thank you so much for the info!
Hi Kevin, where would be a good place to buy a microphone? I was thinking of getting a Blue Yeti and I wasn't sure if Craigslist was a good idea. Thank you
I'll take batteries any day over USBC rechargeable. My older Deity and now my Rode NTG rechargeable mics don't hold a charge as long anymore and it's taking longer to recharge now. That gives the mics a shelf life to a point where I'm going to have to junk them or pay to send them in for battery replacement which means even more time without the mic before getting them back from the manufacturer.

The last part about the "wang" had me dying. I'm looking to get a few of those for my classroom and use them as boom mics with the Rode Wireless Go.

Always a fan of Deity as they serve both the budget side and professional side very well.🍸
Me too. They do a great job and really support their customers.
Great info! Best part of the video were your outtakes,,, LOL
Ha! Thank you!

Thank you Terry!
Love the outtakes. 😀
Thanks! 😃
That last outtake - Please don't give teenage boys and Jeffery Toobin any ideas.
Ha! :)
Wow! This looks great! I want one! ;)
I really like it.
@@BasicFilmmaker I like the size.. every little bit helps. The sound from it in your video is really nice.
Sounds great
That's a great deal. By the way bought a blue yeti a few months ago. Love it
Thanks! Hear good things about the blue yeti.
Hi Kevin, where would be a good place to buy a microphone? I was thinking of getting a Blue Yeti and I wasn't sure if Craigslist was a good idea. Thank you
To be safe, I buy from reputable companies on Amazon, B&H, etc. All here: kit.co/BasicFilmmaker/the-big-list
@@BasicFilmmaker Thank you sir, sorry for not getting back to you in a timely manner
The noise floor on that is pretty high. There’s this faint fuzz that’s pretty significant. Is that in the mix or is that in the microphone?
Huh. I don't hear it on this end at all.
@@BasicFilmmaker I hear a hiss too
OMG, I can use another mic and.. the last 5 seconds SOLD!
LMAO. :)
Can this mic work with recorder zoom h8 adapter Jack 6,3 ?
IDK.
I want one that’s awesome
Hey you!!! Yeah, very happy with this one.
I don't need something like this but if I did, this sounds like the one to get.
It's a good one for the price for sure Gene. Hope all is well with you. :)
yeah, no to batteries. when they start discharging, the sound quality drops.
Haven't seen that on these newer ones, but cool. Some don't like batteries and I understand why.
