Interestingly Jane is actually the name of a girl who is related to Jack's backstory. She's a little girl Jack-2 saved and then when she grew up between Tekken 2 and 3 she started working on a successor model, known as Gun Jack.
And she's been making every Jack model ever since while working for G-Corp. She's probably one of the most represented characters in the franchise since tekken 2 without actually showing up physically. Every time you see a Jack, she designed him.
So, ya know. She's always in the tournament ina way XD

Also it's a mystery nobody made a Mokujin mode yet. Just write an additional Python script that automatically selects random moveset inside Kiloutre's editor. On a button press or automatically each 20 seconds or whatever. If no-one does that me and my coder friends will do it. I'd love to see some TT1 UNKNOWN style combos using it

Jane is a non playble Tekken character. She was the little girl Jack used to protect. She later became a scientist and since after the events of T3 she leads the robotic sector of G-Corp, specially the Jack project. In a sense, Lidia in her prime minister costume and with Jack moves resembles Jane. She appears in almost every Jack prologue or ending except in Tekken 7.

I deeply like the way Bandai Namco would turn Jane into a playable character when she has the most appearances for a non-playable character (NPC) in the Tekken series starting with Tekken 2 - where she was rescued by Jack-2 before the latter's disappearance by the same satellite Mishima (Zaibatsu) developed and seen on Tekken 7.
On the other hand, this video reminds me of the fact that the guys at Namco - prior to BandaI Namco - before made a myriad of sketches for Tekken 1 and when I saw one of the pages for the "Tekken Chronicle" book meant that there were more females prepped for TK1 - like Nina being a French/Benelux/Czechoslovak/Yugoslav boxer, Michelle as a fancy-looking European wrestler and an early Leo that was also a boxer as well as Nina being a brunette while looking like a cross between Eva Green, Andrea Riseborough and Jodie Comer - until the PS2 era arrived with much improved graphics, sadly half of those females who were sketched for TK1 during development were shelved and this maybe the reason why Japan still has a reluctant attitude towards women as South Korea and other Asian countries does as of now...
For sure I wish Tekken 8 could see more brunette Nina and redhead Anna as well as Julia/Jaycee looking like a cross between JLo (Waiting For Tonight), Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark) and Emilia Jones (CODA)...
