Sandcrawlers: a Short History - Star Wars Ships & Vehicles

While not the biggest or fastest of Star Wars vehicles, I’ve always loved Sandcrawlers. I remember being really impressed by the one in A New Hope the first time I watched the movie. It looked real to me (a testament to the skill of those model makers). You could see the behemoth had a history and I wanted to know more about it. In those days unfortunately, there was no internet, so I had to rely on my imagination and a Palitoy (Kenner) play set.
Well, we have the internet now, so you don’t have to rely on your imagination as much (is that a good thing…hmmm), so let’s take a quick look at the history of the Sandcrawler in today’s video.
