Hey buddy . Merry Christmas.... I really enjoy your videos... Real down to earth...work hard American iron... I drive a 1974 Chevy c 20... 454...camper special with only 8500 original miles .. it was a barn find...an old couple only drove it too there campsite..an hour away.. It starts below zero like nothing.. It's never died... They built stuff back then. It's 49 years old... Not a drop of tranny fluid or oil...I changed the trans fluid..filter... I put in new spark plugs...it had the old green line ones in... Changed oil...diff fluid.. flushed and put in new rad antifreeze.. greased everything... it's the best work truck.. It has posi... Handles pretty good in the snow...with some weight .. I am really impressed with the 454... I am a Ford guy too.. I had a 1967 mustang with the 289... Also a 1965 Ford camper special with the 360... I loved all those rigs, but I am surprised at the performance of that 454... I am getting 14 miles a gallon.. alot of my friends drive new rigs, and they getting 17 ... That's with fuel injection... computers ect.. my truck has the quadra..jet . It's so smooth.. You look young .. I am glad a young fella ..likes old iron. Be safe over the holidays...
It is always good to see equipment maintained before it gets broken Austin. When the video started i thought " Oh no, the poor guy has gone over to the darkness !" and was releaved when i learned it was a customer vehicle. Best Wishes to You and Your Family for the Holidays.
Had to do a similar weld repair on my tractors plow frame because the factory welds cracked and the mount cracked in half. That was very fun to stick weld outside at 7 in the morning while its was snowing...
I got an old school but clean Meyer Blade i fairly recently rebuilt the E-47 lift pump and angle rams on an old 2nd Gen Ram. Just a strong machine. Nothing but a few dumb problems once in a great while. Making me a big Mopar fan. Cheers from Toledo ohio
I've spent 5 years modifying years plow on my atv, finally got it working fantastic. Now it's Dec 26 and we haven't had snow yet! Southern Ontario strikes again..
Awesome! This helps me out too with all your close-ups, I’m working on drawing up plans for a home-built plow. Got a blade been hanging around the yard
At one time we bib us them today was 65 I'm in central Oregon on snow this year 😭 thanks for your time in showing us how an what to look for on the old plow merry Christmas 🎁 👍👍👍👍
you are loved and respected by many of us..and bravo to the thoughtful Calif viewers who took the time and effort to gift you..Happy Holidays..be safe and happy everybody..
My wife is my Plowtruck ! She's a Roundbody though not a Squarebody ! 👊😂👍 Anyway, good vid Austin. Happy Holidays to you and your family. And as always, Cheers ! 🍻👊😎👍🍻
Growi up around Square bodies, bumpsides, dentsides and others. I can say its not about the truck. But the driver and how he/she operates the equipment.
I dont like chevy at all but at least with there you can fix yourself plus is classic looking modern chevy trucks are the worst looking truck ive ever seen.

They do still make Goodyear Workhorse tires, man!
Not the true ones
I found out the hard way, when you reinforce one thing the next strongest will F/U the next time, and that might not be easy to fix!
Merry Christmas Legend🍻
Truck looks good for being used so hard.
I still have two sets total of eight tires of the good year work horse tires
Off topic, but the Falcon what’s up with that little red car? Plans etc
So many projects…….so little time!
I'm here commander😂
Need longer videos and more often.
plow looks stock on that ol girl lol😊😂
