I’d pay off the collections…did you spend the money? If so, then it’s your responsibility to pay it back, regardless of whether it “falls off” it’s sad that so many people believe they shouldn’t have to pay bills they created. Had it not been for the companies lending money, what would people have done when they needed it?
I would not pay the collections until absolutely last of the phases. They are already on there and that money could do so much on paying off current debt. It will be much “easier” to pay the collections once you have the other debt payments in your budget available!
did you not know what your getting yourself into working at a convenience store? it just seems like you have a hard time keeping employment jobs there is always an excuse with you.
You can’t just go on the internet talking about guns and a robbery it’s against their rules. She’s monetized has to be really careful. It’s ok to laugh about how someone treated after but I’m sure she was scared. You also are kinda funny in the way you say this
No, no, no, no job is worth keeping if you run the risk of getting robbed or shot. Good for you for quitting!!! Congratulations on the two debts getting paid off.
Hey, heres a hint: One of my friends does door dash. She sometimes gets paid in cash (meaning customers pay her $5 in cash on top of the tip she already gets from the app) This is what she does- when a customer gives her cash-she stuff that in a piggy bank (separate from her change jar). Don't spend it, don't count it as income. Once a month or once every couple months, she and hubby will empty it out and put it toward debt/vacation fund/whatever.
Listen, I have done door dash and all these apps for 5 years. I bet you don’t know this but it’s really lucky to get cash tips. $5 cash tip or even a $1 cash tip is rare. Everyone gets tipped in the app I think I have received less that $200 cash tips on door dash in 5 years
@ I guess it has to do with the area I live in-I'm in WA state couple hours north of you-in my area its very common to pay tips in cash to door dash/uber eats. Several door dash/Instacart/walmart delivery people I know make about $50-$75 in cash tips a week outside the app. In other areas, like yours (and an area 50 miles west of us) getting cash tips- they bust out like you do. I would do door dash again but our poor car is almost 30 years old and on its last legs and my 2 day a week crap job is going to fund a new to us car. Once we get a new to us car, I might go back to door dashing one or two days a week
Let those c.c. fall off! They made so much $$$on you paying interest or tax write offs so use that to assuage any guilt you feel! My savings goal for January was surpassed! So happy. Can only work hourly job due to mobility issues, but I decided to save extra from any overtime and the phone stipend I receive to fund other things to save for. Thank you for the inspiration!
@@LifeUnfiltered89 my 2 cents: First, build up $1000 in cash as fast as you can. Hold onto that. This is not for debt. This is for ankle biters like a flat tire. Or its going to cost $200 to fix the dryer. If you spend it, replace it FAST. this is not your long term emergency fund-that's a different fund. The $1000 is just for the freaking ankle biters that happen all the time. Then work on credit cards/doing what your doing. Also, the stuff in collections- the damage is already done. Ignore those. Work on current debt. Pay off the smallest ones first, then work up to the larger balances.
the night of the accident you pulled out your phone recorded yourself crying talking about how scared you were. but in this video you casually say some guy walked in with a guy and laughing about not knowing if they would want to back? This story is sus the fact that this didn’t traumatize you, but the car accident did? Hmmm okay

I would be careful with the collections a lot of them are suing people in 2025. I would still pay off current revolving debt but keep and eye out. If they sell to another collection company the time to fall off starts all over again Great job though 😊
Your credit union charges the same as coin star?? Wow! Our credit union doesn’t charge a rate at all if it’s under $100 in change. They do charge if it’s over $100, but I NEVER take more than $99.99 at a time.
I’d have 💩 myself and taken off running 😂 but I live in the UK and even though we have gun crime they are illegal here so certainly not as wide spread.

I’m sure he doesn’t have any life insurance on you so bye bye!!! 👋🏼 not worth it Also if the collections aren’t accruing interest I wouldn’t pay them.
