Chris buddy, I loved when you called meltzer on his BS ratings, if you get the chance, listen to Jim Cornette and Brian last laugh at it, it's great buddy. Hoping you and your family are staying healthy. Much respect
I find it so funny that they cant escape the lingo. I saw an interview w steve austin the other day and he was referring to his bills as "you get these gimmicks in the mail and thats a hell of a lot of motivation to keep working" lol
I just had brain surgery and I’m recovering from it. Stevie is completely right my life changed for the better. I’m more grateful for life and my loved ones my faith has been rebuilt. Stevie is inspirational.😊
I really hope we see Stevie appear again in WWE. Whether it’s a rumble or an Andre battle Royal or a backstage segment or whatever, I want to see this man on television one more time before he officially hangs up to the boots. One of the most underrated and most selfless talents in the history of the wrestling.
OMG! We have the same exact story. I developed an infection in my spine in February. Our stories mirror each other to a T. I still don’t have an exact diagnosis as to what or how. But I am on the road to recovery. Ty for sharing your story. Inspiring for me.
You're such a good intuitive interviewer. You let your guests talk, you treat this like a fluid conversation, and it never turns stale. You're also humble. I enjoy your interviews/podcast.
I'm Blessed to open my eyes everyday and be allowed to stay another day to play on God's Blue Marble...I'm Grateful to be able to Strut without limits...I'm Thankful to Love and Be Loved! I have always been a fan of Stevie throughout his career! He was one of those workers who shined with enthusiasm even as a "jobber"! So when he got his "Chance", he was prepared to run with it! Very glad he has overcome his maladies! I salute his Never Give Up mentality! He is one of those truly genuine guys who people gravitate too! Great interview as always Chris! Cheers From Ohio To The CVV Community!
Damn, this is crazy timing….my back has been a mess for almost 2 months, another injury along a 2 1/2 year journey of injuries as a result of being hit by a car while rollerblading through a crosswalk. It was like the same “sign” thing, I had one of the best skates on one of the best days ever, on my way home, was 10 mins away, bam. Went from being the best shape I was ever in, to now, the worst. Thanks Stevie for helping me feel not so alone.
in the attitude era this guy was probably one of the most disliked guys on the roster when he was in the RTC. much respect to him, and glad he was able to overcome this infection! 🙏🏼
I love Stevie Richards, when I was a kid during the attitude era, me and my brother always considered him the fake heartbreak kid. Made us laugh so much. He seems happy, that makes me happy
Steve, Iam glad to hear your in good health. After my health scare, I don't wish it upon anyone, let alone hate hearing someone have a similar infection that I had. I had spinal meningitis. It's the reason why I have seizures to this day
Dammit Stevie is fucking amazing. What a fantastic human being and love his channel. I too just went through some life altering news myself and Stevie….Thank you. Thank you so much for the inspiration and positive energy. Love both of you. Keep up the great work!
Man, I feel for this man. I went through sorta similar ordeal. I had mrsa in My blood. Antibiotics through IV, pic lime, whole ordeal. It sucks! But it definitely helps! Glad he's doing better!
Different actors hated it that the fans just remember them for just one character, like our 2 mots famous Star Trek Captains, played by William Shatner and Patrick Stewart. But at a certain point they realized that they had that once in a lifetime career with that character and start to appreciate it.
The difference between a territory doing a poll match and doing them on tv is that you bring that same match to different towns and the fans are none the wiser. When you do them on tv everyone sees it and it will feel repetitive with far fewer being done.
I think people don't have anything personal against him, well maybe some weirdos make their dislike sond personal. But barely any fan knows him personal, to begin with. So the dislike is all wrestling related. That said, I can very well imagine that Vince Russo is a great person, if you know him personal.
Glad you had him on before he did his cooperatin with James Romero. Stevie Richars seems all open to do content with other channels. James Romero not so much. Infact he said at least once on his show that he doesn't plug other channels. Maven said the internet is large enough for more than one (wrestling related) channel. So why not support each other? James seems to think that there isn't enough space for more than 1 wrestling related channel. As good as he is in what he is doing he can also be a big a**hole.
I mean when damn near every promoter writer booker and anyone who knew the art of storytelling through WRESTLING says that Vince Russo isn’t the “best” person to be in the wrestling business then ima take their word for it…nobody likes to get told that their shit stinks but shit not everything u do is gonna be the greatest thing in the world or that you’re not capable of writing a bad segment cuz we all do…just cuz u know how to write a little don’t mean u know to make it translate it to the wrestling industry…not every fan or no fan can be a part of this industry it’s not build for everyone. Vince as well as pretty much everyone in the industry has a huge ego so it doesn’t seem surprising that u hear these stories about Vince…vice versa these other people could be jealous of his fast success in wwe and wcw without being in the business before but he helped contribute to the downfall of wcw with nwo and bishoff and wwe didn’t want him cuz none of his storylines at the time made any sense. I don’t know Vince but he came off as person that just wanted to specifically live his own dream out in the business cuz he was a fan whether or not we was any good at his craft or not. Obviously he’s shown he can come up with good storylines but a lot of times his storylines didn’t make sense or had creative control to where he was burying people for nwo
Nowadays tough love is toxic to those social warrior Democrat types. But you hear these stories and its just a fact of life that people need tough love and hard times to move forward in life to get that stiff upper lip that's needed nowadays especially the youth in the West.
Medical science saves Stevie's life and he thanks God. America is so weird.... but glad he is on the mend. Such a great mind and so interesting to listen to!
I was a fan for him when he was with Victoria but I was turned off within 2 minutes of him talking because he said any wrestler or any Hollywood man that knows years of being physical is hard like man you made hundreds of thousands and actors make millions o boo hoo your body takes a toll there are people that lift 75 pounds multiple times every minute for 10 hours a day to get 18 dollars an hour and don’t complain soooo

Love It Chris Van Vliet Bro
Chris buddy, I loved when you called meltzer on his BS ratings, if you get the chance, listen to Jim Cornette and Brian last laugh at it, it's great buddy. Hoping you and your family are staying healthy. Much respect
Chris that chair shot taker gave kanyon and maven were brutal
“… I was happy the doctor put me over” 😂
Once a wrestler, always a wrestler! Great to see Stevie happy and healthy
I find it so funny that they cant escape the lingo. I saw an interview w steve austin the other day and he was referring to his bills as "you get these gimmicks in the mail and thats a hell of a lot of motivation to keep working" lol
Glad Stevie was able to make a recovery, He's one of the best to listen to
One of the most talented and consistent midcarders. It's feels good to see him not being bitter over his lack of stardom.
This isn't just a great podcast on wrestling, this is a great podcast on life lessons
Glad you enjoyed it!
I just had brain surgery and I’m recovering from it. Stevie is completely right my life changed for the better. I’m more grateful for life and my loved ones my faith has been rebuilt. Stevie is inspirational.😊
Stevie is legit one of the coolest, most humble, nicest, best people you could ever know. The world is a better place with him in it.
I really hope we see Stevie appear again in WWE. Damn, sorry to hear. Get well soon.
I used to love Stevie! His stuff with Victoria was so underrated, I remember as a kid actually thinking they were together!
Big stevie cool is one of my favorites to listen to tell wrestling stories and his breakdowns are just awesome.
Stevie is a good guy, happy he’s healthy and happy
Thank You for This Interview with Stevie Richards
Always been a fan of Stevie and I love his attitude he’s very down to earth and honest
Stevie is such a great speaker and respectful person.
Great to see Stevie doing so well, and in such good spirits, after going through such a scary thing. Happy he's feeling better. Good chat.

But first give us the Infection on a Pole match!
God Bless Stevie ❤
I love watching CVV interviews and love watching Stevie's analysis videos so this video is special. So much knowledge I learn in this. Thank you! xD

What a great episode, Stevie is awesome. Love his new channel.
P.S: Chris you're awesome too, love your content 💙
I bought that dvd stevie and i saw that extra. I loved the apology and your entire wrestling career. Hats off to the original king of swing.
You guys have great chemistry
in the attitude era this guy was probably one of the most disliked guys on the roster when he was in the RTC. much respect to him, and glad he was able to overcome this infection! 🙏🏼
Stevie's media game has been absolutely stellar lately.
I love Stevie Richards, when I was a kid during the attitude era, me and my brother always considered him the fake heartbreak kid. Made us laugh so much. He seems happy, that makes me happy

Dope Interview Chris As Always Glad Steve Is Good💯👍
Stevie Richards is my favorite non pushed wrestler! Great outlook on life and the business!
i'll show you you'll see man Stevie Richards is a super underrated Wrestler didn't get enough credit and he deserve a lot of credit
Great interview and congrats CVV
Dammit Stevie is fucking amazing. What a fantastic human being and love his channel. I too just went through some life altering news myself and Stevie….Thank you. Thank you so much for the inspiration and positive energy. Love both of you. Keep up the great work!

Stevie is a great Guy! I wish him the best in the Future!
One of the best interviews I’ve ever listened to 🔥the humbled battles are so me
Dude looks younger now years later than when he was wrestling...
Stevie is so cool
We need new Stevie Richard figures from Mattel!
Always loved Stevie and would have him win the world heavyweight title when I played svr 2006 lol
Wow when Stevie said he had to say the two words he hates saying which is I can’t , I got very sad and totally felt his pain.
Love how half of this podcast is Chris giving Stevie credit and Stevie giving it to other people
I am so happy Stevie is healthy
100% stevie mark now
I don't care about what anyone says...
Right To Censor was some pretty hilarious good shite!
Great interviews Chris.
Different actors hated it that the fans just remember them for just one character, like our 2 mots famous Star Trek Captains, played by William Shatner and Patrick Stewart. But at a certain point they realized that they had that once in a lifetime career with that character and start to appreciate it.
Hindsight 20/20 Right to censor was an incredible and genius faction!
Steve my man take those complements as they come, its getting out of hand but, you do deserve it.
Chris! Do an interview with Raven, he's a legend with a lot of knowledge like Stevie.
I'll show you, you'll see!
Seeing Stevie do the review for the osprey omega spot was relieving after hearing the news about him what happened
I had no idea Stevie Richards had such serious health-related troubles. Thank God he is doing okay now. Good interview, Chris!
Stevie IS the John Madden of pro-wrestling. Say it with me: Ace is the place! BOOM! Tough actin' Tinactin!
Stevie looks great! Glad they are not doing headshots anymore. Yikes.
Steven Richards is the only guy who is 50 years old but still looking 25.
Stevie has one of those voices that you don't have to see his face to know who it is.
Notice how music is playing in the background around 0:17-0:21?...
The RTC ❤
Stevie richards should voice an audiobook
Go to hear him point out how good vince russo was to him. That wont be ever said tho coz of the narrative of him
Congrats on becoming a dad Chris
The difference between a territory doing a poll match and doing them on tv is that you bring that same match to different towns and the fans are none the wiser. When you do them on tv everyone sees it and it will feel repetitive with far fewer being done.
Battle rap of credit-giving 😂
😂
Chris you should try and get William regal on to interview
I think people don't have anything personal against him, well maybe some weirdos make their dislike sond personal. But barely any fan knows him personal, to begin with. So the dislike is all wrestling related.
That said, I can very well imagine that Vince Russo is a great person, if you know him personal.
Is Steven Richards still wrestling?...
I think he is, but, I'm not sure.
I think if i hear Stevie talking he is Dolph Ziggler´s Mentor!
Chair shots my top memory is always rock mankind with hands handcuffed that sheet was all kinda wrong
Stevie Richards looks like Sergio Ramos
Ya kinda
Ive heard quite a few wrestlers call stevie Richard's a scumbag of a person in shoot interviews? Why they call him a scumbag?
Theres other great chair shots too: taker to maven, jbl to someone I cant remember who, might have been meanie lol
Well CHRIS my screen time comes from working at my job 50+ hours a week not everyone has the free time to go to a gym whenever they want lol....
He'll show you you'll see

There is one problem in wrestling. If everyone is absolutely perfect, then perfect becomes a midcarder and soon several fired people
Stevie was another super kick guy i felt sorry for him wn Hunter beat him up outside by accident

Dont pull your pony tails so tight, folks. Makes your hairline recede.

I was a fan for him when he was with Victoria but I was turned off within 2 minutes of him talking because he said any wrestler or any Hollywood man that knows years of being physical is hard like man you made hundreds of thousands and actors make millions o boo hoo your body takes a toll there are people that lift 75 pounds multiple times every minute for 10 hours a day to get 18 dollars an hour and don’t complain soooo
yep $10 a month plus $50 a year
Stevie was acting like he had months to live . I'm glad he's recovered but I question how sick he even was.
Blokes like you, seriously
He recovered from the brink of death but you’ll never recover from having a micro penis
He recovered from the brink of death but you’ll never recover from having a micro penis
I love Stevie Richards, but does anybody else think he and Aaron Rodgers kinda look alike?😂
