Hi, I have got a question. My dish is on dead straight and my motor is set to 0, so do I have to move the dish on the motor arm or on the L bracket to point the dish to 0.8 west??
Hi, your video is very helpful, Sory to bother you. On the recever > USALS = I have location East Longitude 42.681 Hemisphere south Latitude. 2.04 Now do I set motor on 0.8 and find thore or set on 0 and find thore via left and right movement? Thanks
Also as I have to set elevation of motor 42 now, do I have to put 42 or 52 in to receiver as my longitude is 52 according to the website you have recommended. Thanks
It's via the coax cable from the receiver. I think it's18 volts that's sent down the cable. I believe that older motors needed a separate power supply, but these days just the coax is enough... :)
It's actually quite easy when you know the formula. Just put where you live into www.latlong.net/ which will tell you your latitude. Then to get the elevation, you just need to minus your latitude from 90... So, if your latitude was 50, it's be 90-50 = 40 for your elevation.
Hello, 1 question for you, the 'elevation' scale on the motor, do you set that to exactly the latitude or is there any math. if no math do you know why they didn't just call it latitude? I'm arguing with my Brother.....
Just curious about the elevation. You say its 90 degrees minus your latitude. My Lat is 50 deg so elevation is 40? If this is correct why is Astra at 26? Just asking.
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Anthony Thomas i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Does this do Azimuth and Elevation or is it just Azimuth ?

Hi is it still working . WHat sthe maximum satellite you could track using this dish ?
Where does the motor get its power from?
It's via the coax cable from the receiver. I think it's18 volts that's sent down the cable.

Many thanks for that
Sorry one more question, How do you know what the required elevation is?

@Anthony Thomas it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
@Ryder Silas No problem =)
hi. Can the computer move the antenna from one satellite to another? Or do I need a satellite moving unit?
The meter can move it
