I had a brother-in-law who had a 59 with a 265 and floor shifter 3 speed. It was a bunch of fun to drive because it loved to rev.
I still miss that truck.
When I was on leave from my tech school I found a 58 chevy with a Pontiac 389 and a Three speed on the floor and drove it to my duty station what a trip. I hugely miss that truck.
I owned a 59 with a big six while in high school in 1962..turquoise green with chrome everything and 261" six and three speed..got it for $900.00..several people I knew owned it after that and it ended up in a carport in Santa Rosa..tried to buy it back for my son to restore in high school shop.
Never saw it even move unti it dissapeared a few years ago...
great looking truck. talked to you about my blue 59 GMC 9320 Wideside at your 2nd annual car show. mine has a rebuilt 283 with a S10 T5 transmission behind it. Alexander MB
Wow, Love to see more of these here in Australia
Great truck good job
For a second there i thought i had been hacked! 😂
I have a namesake!
Saw you guys at the kleefeld car show. Definitely a fan now. Loved the cars you guys had there
Right on, thanks for the support. I'm sure we will run into you again.
All fixed up! Nice. Going to be a blast to drive. Hope you are feeling better Jeff!
UBG discount parts warehouse, aka the shed😂
Will be attending again! Always a good time!
Love the new intro. And speeding up the time lapse really helps with the video go quickly. I also appreciate you guys showing what your doing and not cutting from one scene to another without showing it. Really enjoyed the video
@jackiehiggins2366 Thanks very much!
These were big six cylinder engines. a small block is shorter in length and Weight is less. Automatic win- win situation!
looking good. enjoyed the video. looking forward to seeing it at your 3rd annual car show. hopefully i can bring my 59 GMC wideside this time.
See you there! 😎
Nice work on the old Apache. Sounds really nice with that open exhaust. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks for watching!
Would like to see a flitch plate in chassis where repaired, mind you depends on how you are going to load it.
Im watching you from South Dakota
So your telling me that Dave didn't break it? I sure do like the 58 look..
Tucson , AZ
Do a 30 degree X for your exhaust system and a muffler won't be necessary
Show...abraço do Brasil
make a nice fixer upper
You guys related?
We are not related at all. Just act like it sometimes.
