Good to see your childhood home is being restored, rather than leveled and replaced.
Lot of homes not near the ocean looking dilapidated in my state. Some with modulars slapped up beside 'em. Sad looking poverty.

2:14 That appears to be US military from the 1940s. It is consistent with buckles and hardware found on backpacks and other web gear. Most likely, it is a keeper used on adjustable straps to resize them for the user and to prevent loose strap ends. Compare it to a known military buckle for length, width, thickness, and finish. Most are very uniform and consistent in these factors though sometimes they are wider depending on straps and intended purpose. 9:58 That shovel is designed to be used on a jack hammer, probably to break up hard pan soils.
As a little girl born in 1962, my 4 older sister and I had cap guns, cowboy hsts, boots, as well as Indian head bands, arrows & quivers. We had some awesome wars with the othrr kids in our cul- de-sac. 😅😂 So cool to see those. I still have my roller skates and a The Monrose lunchbox. I totally got how sweet Daisey felt about the car. ❤

Wonderr what them cap guns look like cleaned up.
I used to play with a pistol with a white handle. It was a cap gun. She used to work at the Pistol factory in Jacksonville, TX. It was Nichols-Kusan. Robert Nichols owned it for a while. I love to find kids' toys and anything with writing or designs on. Nice finds. Those Mason jars are still in good enough shape to use.

A MARBLE! So cool. So many people have lost their "marbles". Lol. I remember going into old barns where I used to live as a child, and they did have so many bottles and jars inside.

I would Lo to have to have every one of those jars!, I can myself and if they aren’t chipped, they can still be used. They make great dry storage for beams, rice,flour, etc.

Those chains are the same used in old window weights I pull them outta old homes weekly as a replacement window installer and that old shovel kinda looks like a jack hammer shovel bit

I would love to search around my old childhood house. I know so much stuff got left there when we had to move. 😭 It's all most likely gone of course, but it would be cool to still see though. I looked up history on it, says it was built in 1925 😳 Somehow it is still being lived in though, so it won't be happening any time soon, if ever.
That shovel is a jack hammer shovel!
I was so hoping you would find a Marble! I know it's the wrong time of year but I would have been very warry of snakes under that house, I have come across a lot of Rattlers and Copperheads on my land. I had one Timber Rattler at my back door a few months ago here in southern middle Tennessee.
I would have had to look at every Mason jar. If you find the number 13 on the bottom KEEP it! Back in the day they thought 13 was unlucky so they were broken most times. Great video!

That wasn't a shovel under the house, I beleave it's a jack hammer spade.
There are folks everywhere that could and would use those good canning jars such as the Mason or Ball. Too bad you can't collect them all and donate them to someone that would use them.

What’s that detector holder in the back at the end of the video?
That is a custom made gun rack, my grandfather made it for me probably 10 or more years ago. I use it to hold metal detectors, works well.

Nugget, daisy might have found a joro spider and it is invasive and you are supposed to report it i'd kill it as well due to it being a threat to pollinators and gardens and crops.

Not sure she's the one, notice he slides comments in like "learning to read"... think the newness has worn off. Which is normal after 8 months of common company. They are at the stage at recognizing individual querks, habits and personality weaknesses that they have to decide if they can tolerate for life and acceptance that both are not perfect, but see enough goodness and spark that they can both inspire each other to become better people and build a life together or call it quits and accept they will only be friends.
