Hyunksik is my favorite too. I listen to his solo music everyday. You should watch Hyunsik sing free by gavin degraw it's amazing. If you like Minhyuk's wrapping checkout H.O.T. Jang Woo Hyuk is a fiesty rapper like him.
And still no reaction to HYNN's Killing Voice... hard to take this channel seriously anymore. The disrespectful YT "vocal coaches"/reactors that refuse to react to one of the best female vocalists on the planet because she isn't a popular "idol" is ridiculous. But, it goes to show who really reacts out of passion for unrivaled talent instead of chasing views by reacting to what's popular and trendy... or they're just slaves to their donations instead of using their platform to introduce their viewers to generational talent that deserves more attention.
No disrespect to BTOB, but HYNN is on another level... and even Changsub would agree, hell there isn't an idol/singer in South Korea that would disagree. Yet, all these "vocal coaches" just refuse to react to HYNN. Imagine a 25 year old female vocalist that is already considered a LEGENDARY vocalist by everyone in South Korea's music industry... but still no YT "vocal coach" or reactor is willing to react to her.

hyunsik literally grew up with folk bcs his dad is a legendary folk singer in the 80's whose songs still loved by many until today
Dingo’s Sound Representative explained that because BTOB’s performance was field with ad libs, they had to edit quite a lot in the post productions because they keep overlapping their voices in their mics. It’s such a shame because casual listeners missed what a raw BTOB performance is. Dingo owe us a part 2 and this time with a bigger studio

katriinka this feels like a gift for melodies, thank you so much. Stanning a vocally advanced group is hard, because I love them so much, but I feel like I can't appreciate enough of their vocal skills.
Like I never even knew Eunkwang never put texture on his singing, and every time he sang 'higher', I used to always just be like 'DAMN HE'S SO HOT', but hearing it from you like that just makes me want to repeat that part a million times to love and enjoy.
I'm glad they made you feel comfy as always, and please, I hope your day will be filled with luck as our days have been with BTOB's comeback!!

like yes, i know changsub can hit you with his voice but i didn't know it's bcs he can choose how much and where he will pull that voice from. vocal teachers reacting to the beats is always such a great time because we get to learn more. even tho we'll prolly never be able to pull off whatever the beats are pulling 😆

Yes hyunsik is really confident with his vocal because he has range tho lmao. He even once said that he just composing music with vocals like he want to, because even his members dont want to do it because its too high or low, he will do it by himself, since he could do that comfortably lmao srsly he can do very low notes but very high too 😭

also a little info about the post production by dingo : they recently got a lot of criticism for doing too much editing the audio way too much (in general). for the btob video the sound engineer(s) even apologized for the end result of btob killing voice (apparently their voices got into the other members mics so much)

When I listen to BtoB I can't help but think their songs and voices simply ooze experience. These guys are the definition of wine aging beautifully.

idk if anyone mentioned this and if this was the reason, Hyusik having a folk tone reminds me of the fact his father is a famous folk singer in South Korea called Im Jihoon. They have appeared in few shows together and sang together.
Also Hyunsik's name is pronunced like "Hyunshik"

A university student in Korea who is doing a KPOP course says that their vocal professor shows BTOB as an example for resonance.
At 19:33 same, Katriinka, same. I replayed this part so many times. I am falling for Hyunsik and his voice. BTOB is such an increadible group. i think you should check out Highlight, they're a 2nd gen group, which is an old group, the debut before BtoB and used to be under the same agency with BtoB, they also considered to have one of the best singing in Kpop, especially their main vocalist

I don’t know what makes you difficult time currently, but I am same. I have a difficult moment and haven’t listened btob for a while. Now they are back and started listening them again made me feel much better already. They are amazing. Hope their songs cheer you up as well 😊❤

I saw a comment that the sound coordinator from killing voice( not really sure though) had to adjust the volume of the sound ( and other technical things which I don't know) because they were singing so powerfully that the sound kept getting picked up by each other's mics , so it literally sounded like it was 12 people singing. Maybe that's why it sounds like it has alot of post production?

전문가는 아니라서 용어는 정확히 모르지만 보통 belting이라는거는 소리를 오랫동안 앞으로 크게 낸다라는 의미에요. 뭔가 설명하기 어렵지만, 약간 성량폭발 부분이나 고음파트에 소리지르는걸 belting이라고 하는거같아요. 예: 우린 다시 피어, 날거야ㅑㅑㅑㅑㅑ

I love that you point out how dynamic the rapping voices are here! One of the reasons I love listening to rapping in BTOB, Stray Kids, and Ateez is how they really use the entire range of their voices even when rapping, truly making them into instruments.

I've always heard it said that if Minhyuk were in just about any other group, he could pretty easily be a main vocalist xD obviously not possible with the vocal line in BTOB lol, but I could definitely see it ❤ gosh i love BTOB so much, I've been a Melody since 2012 and tho I love a lot of groups, BTOB have remained my ult group ;w; thank you for this lovely video talking about their beautiful and talented vocals!
