Just picked one up the onter day wow its even more beefy in person! The power is unbelievable!! Unstoppable unless you loose traction otherwise its a tank goes up and down stairs even goes anywhere!
Yeah, man! Plastic Pumpkin-Cover... STATIC (not FOLDABLE, at 1/10 TRX4 NEW BRONCO they are FOLDABLE) Side-Mirrors at this weight(25Pound???) an absolut "NO GO"! For this Price!!! But: make a mighty hype and the people will bay it, the price is allmost irrelevant. Maybe 20 sponsert Pro's around the Globe... maybe 10 Video's per Pro and it goes for it's self... THAT'S THE WAY IT GOES EVERY TIME. It's on you, what you do... Every year a new idea... I think, i MUST HAVE these "must have"... Every year... What do you think about it? If they would take Costumers seriosly, would they send a upgrade metal(cnc-milled or casted) pumpkin cover the costumers for less... That would binds the costumers ... Stagnation means Regression... Say we in Germany😁👍
Thanks man! Yea the realism in off-roading is awesome! The extra weight and size really give you more time to react and see what you need to input. Super cool.
You would question why someone isn't running spektrum batteries ? Cuz I can get 4 batteries for the price of 1 spektrum one 🤷 and I know when it dies cuz the car stops driving 🙂
The Axial team got a lot of feedback that a Jeep should indeed have straight axles to keep it scale. Also, the complexity of a portal would have increased the price even further in my opinion. Its not really a step backwards all things considered and who knows, they may come out with optional portals in the future.
Plenty of room to upgrade I guess. Certainly a lot of expensive electronics driving the cost up too. But they are very much appreciated in something this large. In today's world, everything just seems more expensive unfortunately!

Have fun! Glad you like it so far :)
Awesome RC I love the music in the end
I see three down falls, price, steering servo and shifting servo mount, other than that beautiful rc.

Looking forward to what Traxxas is going to counter with.
Yes! I bought one sight unseen
Haha damn right!
@@StevesRC nice video Steve! Hill climbed very well. Noticeable difference in second gear is a good trade off for dig. Pumped

Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed. Can’t wait to bring this to the Tennessee mountains next week for more content!
@@StevesRC looking forward
Here's a comparison with a full-size counterpart, such as the TNT T-Rex Jeep JK (with 43 inch tires and a 121 inch stretched wheelbase).
Width: 86" / 14.88" = 5.78 scale
Length: 182" / 33.55" = 5.42 scale
Height: 81" / 14.55" = 5.57 scale
Wheelbase: 121" / 19.74" = 6.13 scale
Weight: 6000 lbs / 25 lbs = 6.21 scale
Tire height: 43.1" / 7.0" = 6.16 scale
Rim diameter: 20" / 3.2" = 6.25 scale
Pretty nice comparison. Thanks!
Looks awesome but $1750 in Australia!
I see that Woodford is in to it.
He loves chasing cars!
I'm going to pull the trigger now
I know you’ll love it!
Impressive first drive my friend. Subscribing for more 🤙
Thanks for the sub!

Great job as usual Steve!! BTW...who is the music @ 12:00 minutes? Thanks for the review of this AWESOME new Axial product!!
Got it from epidemic sound but I’ll find the name for ya!
@@StevesRC Thanks!! I would buy their album for sure!!
@@rickhayes Beyond Elysium
Wellmess, Tommy Ljungberg
I think Wellmess is the "rock" part of that track. But it looks like a "collab" piece.
@@StevesRC Thanks!!
I've had enough of this truck already the amount its been dominating my UA-cam feed and the price is ridiculous over a thousand pound! £1299
All the hype!!
For US market, its $1100 and the electronics alone are like $600. Its a very good deal for what you get.
You can just make an ic5 adapter then you can run both like I do in my LMT, Kraton and Yeti, Typhon 👍
Very true!
Who is the band at the end of your bad ass video ?
I think they are called wellmess
Thank you,loved your video
😉👍👍👍
Doesn't appear to have portals,if it doesn't why not,why come out with a new truck and then take a step backwards.

Man fuck that ic5 shit I got all XT60 battery’s ain’t buying a bunch of new batteries
its nice but for $1000 there is way, way to much plastic

how fast is it in 2nd gear
I haven't clocked it with GPS, but I'd say every bit of 15MPH maybe 20 on 3S. 4S even faster!
@@StevesRC thanks for the reply... I bet that would look sweet with some deep dish polished silver rims and bigger tires. 😊
