The best part about this video is that you look so excited to teach, which makes me excited to learn. My main goal when I get to my Spanish class is to get out. I can't tell you enough how much I wish teachers would be this happy about teaching.
I think you are one of the best teachers of Spanish on UA-cam. I have listened to a lot of them, and you definitely are the easiest to learn from because you explain things in such a way that I can understand it completely. Thank you!
¡Muchas gracias, Ana!
Thanks a bunch to you Miss Butterfly, because your program helps me to learn Spanish language very fast.I will be always follow your wonderful videos.I wish you the best luck and keep working on this way.
thank u very much for u amazing videos,I am watching your video since I am live in china, but now I am in Mexico, and still keep watching your video to study Spanish,u r the best
Very helpful. Gracias. You are also pointing out a misuse of English. If the party is already underway and I am at the party I should ask, Are you coming to the party? If it is a future party, then I should ask, Are you going to the party? However, that is not how English is currently being used. It's like, they get what I mean and so all is understood.
It is correct in English to ask if someone is coming to a party if it is your party or you are hosting said party. If the party is someone elses and you arent hosting it then yes it should be "going". i.e. "Are coming to my/my sons birthday party?" The other way of saying it that involves going is "Are you going to come to my party?" An example of using going would ve "Are you going to the company Christmas party?"
hi Ana. I translated both the explanation and subtitle to Turkish for this video. I hope it will be available in a couple days. And I hope it will help Spanish learners (like me) from Turkey to learn more from your videos. thanks for these beautiful videos. When I have time, I will try to add Turkish subtitle to your videos. but it took like 2 days to add it.
Muchas Gracias Professora Anna.I have reviewed this again so that I can be perfect in the usage of VENIR and IR. CONGRATULATIONS. Que Deus abençoe você imensamente, Professora Anna👌🏽👌🏽👍👍👏🙏
Thank you! You make Spanish so much easier to understand. I would love a lesson on the correct way to put together sentences and questions, sometimes I get a few words the wrong away around.
Tu es muy bueno maestro! Your channel is very helpful! Definitely the best resource I've found. (still trying to figure out how to type upside down characters and accents on letters.)
balisong46 yes, it’s the same way in English; however, we’ve mixed up the meanings due to slang. “Sam are you coming to my house on Friday?” “Sure, I’ll be there” In the sense of Venir “We’re going to the mall. Do you want to go?” “Sure, I’ll go” In the sense of Ir
Can do a lesson on fue vs era and estuvo vs estaba? I’m having trouble understanding and I enjoy your lessons it has really helped me understand spanish better.
Another wonderful video! Many thanks for your help in improving my Spanish. I should point out that "Are you coming to the party" implies that I am going to the party and asks an unspoken ''are you coming with me". If I were not going I would ask "Are you going to the party" which might imply that I am not, (although not necessarily). Typically confusing English!!
My mother's native language is not English. "You go away. You ask someone to come who *is* away", was how she learned it in English. I still think this way. Who knew Polish would help me learn Spanish?!
I think it's the exact same rules in English. It's just that we brake this rule all the time and nobody knows the difference or just doesnt care. Except your middle school english teacher. I remember being corrected for saying something like "I'm coming to the restaurant" then she'd say "No, you're going" because I wasn't talking to someone who was already at the restaurant
Thank you so much to teach this important verbs with drawing example.always do drawing as example, please🌹 .if I got any questions about espanish grammar where can i ask you ?
thank you! so i use VENIR if I am talking about someone coming TO WHERE I AM. otherwise for “going/coming” anywhere else i would use “ir.”. it seems similar to traer and llevar. thank you ana. I hope any native speakers out there will correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you very much for your enjoyable teaching! I have one observation to tell..."Voy a ir a la biblioteca" isn't it translated "i am going to go to the library" and shows intention?...because you translate it "i am going to the library

Hola! Soy de CHAD
How Long have you spent to learn Spanish?
I think you are one of the best teachers of Spanish on UA-cam. I have listened to a lot of them, and you definitely are the easiest to learn from because you explain things in such a way that I can understand it completely. Thank you!
This really helps cause it’s making my mom proud I’m finally taking out the time to stop watching tv and learn something

Very important language concepts. It goes beyond simple translation into local speech patterns and customs.
Bravo
I would definitely consider putting a little icon in the title to show how important this topic is. Just a suggestion

zenistic you are right. In English it not correct to ask someone Are they coming to a party that's elsewhere.

Wow! I think the use of IR y VENIR actually makes a lot of s sense in Spanish than it does in English. I needed this. Muchas gracias Ana.

Gracias a ti. Muchas gracias por tu generosidad. Te lo agradezco de corazón.
I love this one, quick and simple. Have to watch it again! Gracias!
Venir (here)
Ir (somewhere else)
Gracias... ahora parece tan sencillo
Is it really that simple because I'm more confused after watching this video.

@@luisguzmanabasto1526 mmm ningún español es más estructurado que el inglés. english is all over the place.
Thanks!
