I am honestly obsessed with you guys, just watched all of your videos in 2 days, HILARIOUS, never stop please!!!
One Christmas when I was somewhere roughly around 7-10 years old my sister and I were given a fairly large karaoke machine, with a less than 10" black and white screen that you would use with CDs- but it also had an antenna and could be used to watch TV. Of course, it only picked up a handful of channels, and sometimes would barely manage that, but it was before we had one in our room so we thought it was rad. Anyway one of those channels was PBS and every Saturday night we'd dial it up- all this is to say that I'm 9 years younger than Dixie, but I also grew up (despite being an American child with no special knowledge of British culture) watching Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances.
Every other time I've watched this I kind of didn't feel like it was worth typing this out, but something about this particular rewatch inspired me to say to hell with it. I'm sure many people will be absolutely enthralled by this little tidbit I've shared lmao.

the poster y'all put up at the end has gothy and scaredy in the right order of elimination. and for a split second i thought it was hidden spoilers and that dida ritz had won the season. it's what she deserves.
For how short she's been doing drag, Scaredy Kat's already got a lot of promise. Her biggest shortcoming seems to be trying to stick to one note with her persona - her makeup was always pretty much identical, and her behavior on-stage and in challenges was as well, even when it didn't fit what was being asked. All she needs to do to keep growing, is figure out how to go from having a rigid set of rules for how she should look and present herself, to instead keeping general guidelines she can adjust and bend as necessary. There are plenty of drag artists with very specific styles and iconic elements to their aesthetic, but the key is versatility within those styles and elements.
I'll be looking forward to what Scaredy Kat does next.

edit: i actually really liked scaredy. she's young, artistic, weird, and unique. and i really like baga as well. i think i may find her annoying in person, but i think she basically explodes with personality. the cool thing about this season is that i'll be excited for pretty much whomever wins. they're all bringing some very different qualities and styles to the runway, so i like each of them for different reasons.. so far at least... this season is definitely refreshing after seasons 10 and 11.
