- We continue to the sites north of Basra, heading to the ancient Sumerian City of Ur, believed to be one of the first established cities in the world, followed by heading to the famous Iraqi Marshlands.
After these adventures we board the Basra - Baghdad night train, one of the few train lines still operating in the country!

My Iraqi friend took me to a tour agency and they quoted me these prices without a guide.

I am careful and responsible and wasn’t laughing at anybody in a negative way, the reason I came to Iraq was to appreciate the history and the hospitality of the people, of which some of my friends. Please do not assume before leaving a negative comment, I understand the horrors of what this country has faced.
