Salmon flesh side down seems strange, not overall, but specifically since you basted. If you're going to baste you can just cook skin side down the whole time. You get super crispy skin and cooked all the way through. But everything looks great

You can add a good amount of salt n apart of butter to boil the potatoes….. when done you can add just a pinch of chicken bullion …. This omits wasting chicken broth … especially it’s the prices of groceries these days….✌🏽♥️😇
