Maruti Ertiga Variants: It can be had in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The CNG kit is available with the VXi and ZXi trims.
Maruti Ertiga Seating Capacity: It is a seven-seater MPV. If you want a six-seater MPV, you can check out the Maruti XL6.
Maruti Ertiga Engine and Transmission: Maruti has equipped the MPV with an updated 1.5-litre DualJet petrol engine with mild hybrid tech. The updated powertrain now makes 103PS and 136.8Nm. Transmission duties are carried out by a 5-speed manual as standard, with a new 6-speed torque converter replacing the 4-speed automatic option. The MPV also gets a CNG kit which gives a reduced output of 88PS and 121.5Nm when driven solely on the cleaner fuel.
The claimed fuel efficiencies for the petrol-manual and petrol-automatic are 20.51km/l and 20.3km/l respectively, while the CNG option returns 26.11km/kg.
Maruti Ertiga Features: The facelifted Ertiga gets Maruti’s new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paddle shifters, and connected car technology (telematics). The list also includes cruise control, auto headlamps and auto AC.
Maruti Ertiga Safety: Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. Higher trims of the MPV get two additional airbags (4 in total) and ESP with hill hold assist.
