Maiden didn't sound the same without Clive. Mind you, Nicko's not bad, and some members praise his technique, but Clive had this 'incredible feel' as Bruce puts it. He is sorely missed.
This is fucking nuts. How on earth does Clive hold out those 16th notes on the hi hat?? And with such power too! You come closer to his playing than Nicko did in Live After Death.
yes ..I totally agree with you ..this guy come very very very close to Clive,'s performance closer than anyone else Nicko included ( bus surely nicko just want to play this song in his way because he's a great drummer especially in personality ..) anyway you focused the point ...and the really point in this song it is how the fuck the great Clive r.i.p. could play that 16th ..on Charleston or hi-hat if you like one handed .....it's incredibile it is the things it still surprising me since I saw him play in live at rainbow vhs at the very beginning of their careers..it still impress me even though I use to play the bass guitar...
excelente , es el mismo toque que tenia CLIVE BURR , un sonido que no escucho con ningun baterista en youtube que versiona el tema , el sonido original de iron maiden.. excelente.
Nice job!!... would you share the drum sheet/tab? There is a lot of drum sheets on the internet, but the most are diferent than the original Clive's drum sound...
Very nice job! Yours is the best cover of this song I have seen on UA-cam. I just posted a version to my channel, and while I think it is "accurate" to what Clive Burr played, my playing is a bit rough around the edges. Not an easy one (at least for me).
My foot is on my hihat. Heel bouncing, toes holding it closed. I never once used double bass on a maiden video. But thanks for staring at my leg for so long.
Perfeito 🤘
This has to be one a the best covers of this song.
Of all the drum covers I've seen on this song, you're the only one that has that fast hi hat down 👍
Finally. Someone plays it without using two hands on the HH

cool Bro! A very underrated piece of drumming! Great job!!

Please note that Clive, in the "staccato" at 1:04, uses left hand on the drum e right hand on the timpano, same time. Ciao
Molto bravo! Clive sarà fiero di te !!

I see you're pussin' out at 1:38, playing full double bass, when it's actually a much more difficult right foot bass line.

I must apologize, I didn't see it correctly. I retract my comment. Good job man.
@666metalkidd lol Thanks.
