- 1962 Imperial 4 door hardtop with just 64,330 actual miles. I have owned it for 20 years. It is a low mileage all original car in fantastic condition. A Montana car so zero rust. Beautiful interior with power windows. Power seat, power steering, power brakes, power antenna and automatic headlight dimmer system. Exterior is in excellent condition and all chrome is impeccable! Radio plays great! Everything works perfect! Cool steering wheel and this one has the push button transmission! $23,500.00
I`ve also have a `62 Crown, in blue and with the same interior as yours. Best wishes from Sweden.
Thank you! Greetings from Minnesota!
Amazing beautiful 🖐️
Thank you!
Love the car. I've owned two 1962 Imperials, a Crown convertible in white, red leather interior. And a Custom coupe in rosewood poly with matching interior, same material as yours. Oh to still have them now...
Thanks! Yes. Lots of cars I wished I had never sold! You run out of room and have to make room for the new ones!
Yes, at this point I would need a forty five car warehouse... Although there are some I would never want to see again. Like a 1971 VW 411, bought new in a spasm of practically and was a lemon from the get go.
Unbelievably clean.
An Incredibly Beauuuutiful Car!❤️
Nice car. Has an awesome interior.
Nice Imperial - that must be a Custom for it does not have the Crown emblems on the quarter panels. I have a Crown 4 door all orig. too with about 75,000 miles. Mine has A/C and it still blows cold. That 413 is one smooth powerful engine. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, a Custom. Thanks for your comment. Truly a pleasure to drive!
@@markeversonclassiccars They are neat to drive and they ride great. My dad and I went to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1998 to buy. It's baby powdered blue. They always get a lot of looks and thumbs up. Best of Luck with your Imperial!
Beautiful car, Has always been my favorite of yours, Glad you went with the professional videographer again, You should hold on to this one for a few more years!
You are right about the great videographaer! Very professional! Thanks for the help!
@@markeversonclassiccars Anytime, love to help!
Great car!
my dad had one ... pink! good memories
Beautiful car but for me only the 61 through 63 LEBARON is so 👌 incredible. ❤ the Limo style roof. 😎 Virgil Exner at his best.
I had one years ago that was white with brown interior. Had about the same mileage, but quite a bit of rust I bought it from the Wife of the original owner that also ran the Chrysler dealership it came from. I think yours may have a newer starter in it . I don't think the familiar high pitched starter was used until 63.
Thank you for your reply! This is just the way I purchased it. I've had it for over 20 years!
Those old Dodges never failed on styling!
They were incredible looking. Work of art.
Dodges?
Beautiful car !!
Very Nice Mark.
Super cool car!!
Awesome, getting mine in two weeks.
Magnificent!
Wow where in the heck did you find an original Imperial this day and age...amazing👍
That car looks exactly like the 62 that I owned. It had the champagne interior but was the same as this one. Mine had just over 50K on it when I sold it. It didn't have hardly any body dings on it either, just a couple of very small grocery basket dings. The car would float on the road and the faster you drove it the smoother it got. Once you got passed 35 mph their were very few cars that could run with it because it had tremendous power and really high gears in it. I had it way passed 100 mph several times after I put some big Michelin Cadillac steel belted radial tires on it. They say that the 413 and the 426 hemi had essentially the same power, there was not much difference except that depending on the carberation the 413 actually had a little more hp and torque. I had several MOPAR cars and a couple of trucks and the 413 was the strongest power train of all of them. I want to kick my own ass every time I think about getting rid of that car.
Awesome Car probably rides like a couch on wheels :)
Sounds like a magic carpet.
I had a '63 LeBaron that someone had stuck a 440 in it. I love the '61-'63 models.
Interesting detail with the driver's side seat being a bit higher than the passenger side. The only missing detail for me is a front seat center arm rest.
wow - what a great time capsule - the front & rear lights and that dash instrument panel - i love it -one question - is the steering wheel NOT traditionally round - it looks like it's somewhat "squarer" if that's possible :)
Are you gonna sell it? I had a junky one during high school in 1971 with no reverse gear connection. My friends would jump out and push it back when we needed to back up.
Members of the football team??
I would love to know more about gour 1962 Imperial, it is a beauty and was always one of my favorites. Is it still available? If you would let me know I would email you or you me. Thanks so much. Jeff
Hi Jeff, please provide me your email address and we can connect on this car! Thanks
Are you still interested?
it's perfect except for the push button transmission they often break. but the 413 makes up for it not many of them around
I've had many 1956 - 64 Mopars - never had a push button break on any of them
Just like the torqueflite transmission itself, Chrysler's push-button controls were virtually Bulletproof.
@@danielulz1640 I wish to God they still manufactured the 727 torqueflite - and of note I believe Lincoln now comes with a push button transmission.
Maybe I'm missing something, but where is the air conditioning? I don't see any A/C vents on that dash at all! Trunk A/C? Can't believe they would sell an Imperial without A/C!
…lucky early 60’s Imperial to have survived in such original preserved + conserved condition and not have ended up being gutted / trashed and driven to death in a demolition derby as was the fate of so very many imperials from the 1950’s and 1960’s …saddest was seeing / watching the high end Imperial LeBaron sedans + Crown Coupes and custom bodied hand assembled Ghia limousines being mindlessly destroyed in demo derby wreck-a-thons …happily this Imperial Crown sedan will not be meeting a demo derby fate …very original condition + presentable 1962 Imperial which of the 1961 thru 1963 Imperials had the best front end styling with the split grille theme and back end / tail light styling on that 3 year production body design …tho not ever very big sellers in comparison to GM’s Cadillac year to year sales the 1961 thru 1963 and 1964 thru 1966 Imperials were especial to have come out of Detroit and were very deserving of car collector preservation status 🙂
Great car. But, you didn't put on your seat belt.
I wonder what the mpg are. You never know.
Why the hell would you ever even consider a Cadillac over this??
Very nice but it doesn't have AC!
Ffs its a car from 1962!
@@johanbrand8601 ...yes and that's what windows rolled down are for ; )
@@willyboy6126 exactly!
I swear this guy will complain because a Model T doesn't have AC.
There's always f****** one isn't there!!!
Try opening the ventipanes/quarter light and you'll have wonderful fresh A/C that doesn't cost a scent!👍🤗
And it comes with a bent steering wheel, Ha ha!
You'll never see cars like Detroit once made.. artdeco.. 4 doors still beautiful to look at just 2 too many doors for me.
