The interior of that 2022 LT was basically identical except the dash and it had a console and driver sit was power. Hey Ben. I think you do a fantastic job and I’ve been watching your reviews for a couple years now. I’d like to make a comment based on the MSRP of all these new vehicles. It seems to me that the average middle class American can no longer afford a truck. They are pricing us out of the market. I refuse to give in to their greed. At some point they’re going to have a lot of these grossly overpriced vehicles on their lot and no one will be able to afford them without a $20 or $30,000 discount. Now rumor has it they want to do away with dealerships. You will order direct from the manufacturer and the dealerships will only exist for service. I suppose I will look for a preowned pick up truck because it will be a cold day in hell before I give any of the big three my hard-earned money. Now what’s next? Offer 10 year loans so we can have an affordable payment? Another thing that really burns my ass is all the outsourcing of materials to build the trucks. It’s a shame that they got so greedy that they have to move all the manufacturing and parts manufacturing out of this country. I ask everyone out there to not buy anything new. They don’t deserve our hard earned money.
Automotive field is extremely competitive so manufacturers do what they have to do. Don't like the prospect of owning a truck? A lease will allow you to own a new truck every three or four years, without owning the massive depreciation and dealing with repairs after the warranty is long gone. Don't just air your problems, find solutions!
@@JN-mk2fh Only an idiot would pursue that Avenue. That’s like renting and turning something in and you have nothing to show for it as far as equity. No I would never do that. You must work at a dealership. Probably a finance guy. Do yourself a favor and don’t give people financial advice because you’ll only put them further in debt. With a thought process like that you are part of the problem not part of a solution.
I feel you man. But for me, the reason I might still go for this truck is because whenever I buy used, I always get ripped off on the interest rate just because I have to finance. I’m paying 15% for a vehicle that ain’t worth it. At least if I buy new, I’ll have a much lower interest rate. And I do love the truck.
Was told by a friend who owns a dealership that the refreshed truck was more because GM needs to sell off all the Limited Silverados that were on hold due to the chip shortage.
My initial thoughts… not enough horsepower to justify the high price. The exterior looks modern, better than the GMC, like the Bose sound system, but in the end, it’s a lazy V8.
@@karrs42901 each time you start it. Or you can remove the infotainment system out of the dash, put in an eliminator , then replace the dash components.
Who thought of that ? I won’t buy any vehicle that has that stop and start, so I guess I will never own a new vehicle . Can you really turn that mode off?
The unfortunate thing is the price didn’t actually increase. What happened is the American dollar you have is worth less than it was a few years ago. To be precise inflation is at 10% from last year meaning physical goods such as cars will raise in cost not because prices are raising but because your dollar is worth less.
Then the dirty @$$ government needs to increase our income then we can afford most "needs" not "wants" (the wants part is if you got you can get it without any gripe)

Really Nice Truck Not Like Toyota How The Colors Don’t Match
How many gallons is the gas tank?
Still no panoramic sunroof!??
I would like a LS3 option on a short cab short bed rst.
So GM says no more market adjustments…. Instead, we’ll just jack up the prices across the board.
A lot of features I wish were on my 19. I really like how they make the console pretty useless by stuffing the gear shift in there. 🙄
that's why I'm converting my 2006 Silverado Z71 into a trail Boss for a few bucks vs spending a fortune on a new, lower quality truck.....
Was told by a friend who owns a dealership that the refreshed truck was more because GM needs to sell off all the Limited Silverados that were on hold due to the chip shortage.
New to the truck game so actually how big is the 65MM tires ?? Like 32 or 33 inches?
32ish
32.5 exactly
I can’t find any trail bosses. They all sell out super fast
Lemans Chevy in Bloomington IL wants to charge 93K for a ZR2. New market can miss my ass.
Custom trailboss in gauge cluster?
Besides the price I see so much that cost a ton in maintenance with all those electronics.
This looks better than the Zr2 imo
GM’s truck prices are out of control. Will not be buying from them. Selling a slightly beefed up trail boss as a ZR2 at Raptor prices. Gtfo.
Is this 63k us or cad?
I need a 6.2 if I ever buy a chevy
Nice lookin truck….👍
They finally addressed the interior.. why did it take them so long 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
My initial thoughts… not enough horsepower to justify the high price. The exterior looks modern, better than the GMC, like the Bose sound system, but in the end, it’s a lazy V8.
💯
Yep. Beyond me why anyone would get the 5.3 at 70k. Hell to the fk no
I’ll just keep my 2013 I hate this body style I’m just trying to figure out what my dad finds so great about it
Very nice looking truck.
I really wish chevy would stop making the cupholders shiny...it really sucks when the sun hits it...
Way to much...
Does the same thing back and forth to work.
I'll keep my 2015 Z71 with 36000 Miles!
Yes best looking for sure
Now, if they would eliminate the start stop feature....
well you can deactivated
@@geezusmeatball1328 You are also deactivating the warranty, unless you pull it back out for every dealer visit.
There's a button to turn it off under the radio screen
@@karrs42901 each time you start it. Or you can remove the infotainment system out of the dash, put in an eliminator , then replace the dash components.
Who thought of that ? I won’t buy any vehicle that has that stop and start, so I guess I will never own a new vehicle . Can you really turn that mode off?
The unfortunate thing is the price didn’t actually increase. What happened is the American dollar you have is worth less than it was a few years ago. To be precise inflation is at 10% from last year meaning physical goods such as cars will raise in cost not because prices are raising but because your dollar is worth less.
You’re right the dollar is worth less but prices are also rising out of control since Brandon was foolishly elected to destroy this country..
Then the dirty @$$ government needs to increase our income then we can afford most "needs" not "wants" (the wants part is if you got you can get it without any gripe)
And yet we make no more money than before
I'm having a hard time choosing between an all black Ram Rebel GT or this all black Refresh Trail Boss... I love both of them.... sigh.... idk what i want... there both amazing trucks... I just wish Chevy/ GMC would do panoramic sunroof on there trucks
If your panoramic sunroof ever developed a whistle, rattle, or leak, you'll wish you never had it.
That is a tough choice
RAM is a very easy easy choice my friend…….
Rams are gorgeous. However, if you are thinking about off roading, then trail boss gives you more ground clearance than Rebel.
@@leedanielson7452 yes for you because you are a Ram fan
Cool truck!
Meh. I'm glad I bought a 2021. The console shift looks terrible on a truck.
heated seats and heated steering wheel deleted?? wtf
I love my 20 just want the undated interior
Unless that truck has a 40 gallon fuel tank, there's no chance it's going to get 563 miles of range with 13 and 17 as the stated MPG.
I think the 5.3 gets much better than the stated mpg's
Great truck if you dont mind making thousand dollar monthly payments.
i can't wait for the bubble to burst
Dear
followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who
buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into
the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service,
the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a
malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help
will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep
your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluf
$64k and you have a manual-dimming mirror, 100% digital displays, and an Audi-looking gear selector. Can they please leave this stuff in the cars and SUVs, and leave the trucks alone? All 3 trucks that I've driven (different brands) with big digital displays have had those displays crap out and later come back on. Why would I want to run the risk of my ENTIRE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER shitting the bed when I crank the truck one day? I'm sure it's no big deal. Probably cheap to troubleshoot or replace....
that bed is kinda short
take a shot everytime he says trail boss
17mpg hwy $6/gal for gas
Black interior sucks. Every truck I've looked at in the last 2 months has black interior. WTF cheap ass manufacturer's .
