We’ve picked up one for my daughter few days ago. It’s SE trim with pano roof, but surprised with everything that comes with it. Solid vehicle and easy to drive. Thanks for your explanation. Loved it!
ok, I really need to hear from someone who has this Tiguan with the "slider" controls for fan speed and temperature and direction of air flow. I can't believe that taking your eyes off the road to make sure your finger is in the right spot, is not the most ridiculous and unsafe way to go!
I'm fine with manual seats, just wish they had adjustment for tilt in front (thigh support). Almost all are 6 way. My old 1999 Mazda Protege had 8 way manual seats (a dial to tilt the front of the cushion up and down. Don't know why they don't do that any more with manual seats - even Mazda doesn't do that anymore.
Is your comment specific to the 2024MY cars? We have a 2020 S trim Tiguan and other than the battery going out prematurely which we got replaced under warranty, it's been problem free throughout the lease. We are now looking at the 2024 Tiguan SE as shown in this video and this has some decent upgrades not just for being a higher trim but just VW adding more standard features that we don't have on the 2020 car.
I have the same one and it's really cool, especially if you are coming from a lower class car like me :D I ordered one from USA to EU, and is missing a lot of things primarly in the luggage compartment but I can't find what exactly should I have there so I order all the parts. Not to mention in EU is really hard to find all those parts and EU versions interior parts not always fit well. I have a question - I also don't have parking sensors. I do see the front grill have something that looks like sensors, but they are empty and have never had anything inside. So the question is, can I fit new parking sensors there? And should those be compatible with the system? Cheers for the great content!
The Canadian Tiguans come with the 10.25 inch gauge display but no navigation in this trim level. Much better than the 8 inch display on the American version.
@@BachmanVolkswagenLouisville So we going to have the 15 inch screen 📺 next year? The 2024 looks really different I wonder 💭 why the US version is similar to the Tiguan 2023-2022….,🤔
Open Road VW Manhattan flat out refused to honor the sunroof warranty on my 2019 Alltrack. This is going to court. They're an unbelievably shoddy VW dealer. P.S. I would not buy a VW with a sunroof, as this problem has been known to happen with the Tiguan as well.
Same with my Golf Sportwagen. Leaked back by the C and D pillars and made the car smell horrible. Ended up being lucky enough to sell it back to VW during Dieselgate. Shopping for a Tiguan now, so I guess I’m stuck with an S or SE without sunroof.
@@Ddassel82 I have a small claims court date set for June. VW Manhattan also gave me a quote that was about triple the cost of an independent VW shop. Not only did the dealer refuse to honor the warranty and try to gouge me, but VW USA refused to back me up. There is a culture problem at VW.
@@evoemperor3776 ....but it is more likely to happen in a VW/Audi, because their drainage system isn't designed well. Also, VW Manhattan is a dishonest dealer. VW corporate tolerates their dishonesty for some reason. It's a culture problem at VW.
Unreliable Tiguan because it uses a lot of plastic brittle engine parts especially the plastic water pump that does not last long and leaks. Will be waiting for VW Tiguan to use more metal engine parts to improve reliability otherwise better I buy a Toyota RAV4 to avoid future headache and avoid frequent repairs

My daughter bought one today. $35K
@@jscottuptonI have a question 35k Fwd or Awd I'm also interested in whether there is a sunroof?
I just bought one of these yesterday. 2024 Tiguan se and I’m thankful to see this video
Great Video, can't wait for the follow up hidden features!
Just bought one over the weekend. Does not have the sunroof. But that's okay. So far love it
Got mine during the 75 year event. Love it!
My sel-r line from 2022 is amazing. I recommend these cars.
2022 VW Tiguan with oil consumption issues. I get a low oil indicator every time before the scheduled oil change. This has been the case from day one.
Appreciate your honest feedback. Honesty trumps.

I’m looking at them. Some negative reviews out there regarding reliability, electrical problems, etc.

I'm coming from a 2012 Rogue so everything he said could be better is great for me lol. Definitely an upgrade.

Pretty sure the American market doesn't get rear heated seats. In Canada they offer rear heated seats on highline r line. Picking it up this Saturday.
I feel like the digital cockpit pro should be available in all Volkswagen trims except the S trims. For 2024 it should be much better
I agree
Just bought mine
Does anyone know, if you got the power lift gate is the easy open (kick sensor under rear bumper) included??
Where is the one ☝️ with big screen 📺? I seen 2024 Tiguan in other UA-cam channel it looks different?
This is the larger 8.0” infotainment screen. New screens coming next year

Only 184HP out of a 2.0T engine? This must be the weakest 2.0T made. It should be pushing over 200HP.
24 mpg in city? Oh that’s toomuch
I’m sure they’re going to put their 1.5 crappy engine in it

Sunroof issue can happen to all brands tho leaking is caused by clogged drain which overflows through the headliner and into the interior.
