Mind blown!!! Love this video. Best part is how you do the back allowing the hair to bend to give fullness like a backcome! Ingenious James!🙏👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fabulous! I have always doubted myself as a hairdresser of 30 years but you are giving me the confidence that the way I work is 100% correct! I am lick g picking up little extras! Thank you.
This is exciting for the industry because the client will need our help! #dolifewithyourclients so conversation must be about the client her life and up coming events so we PURPOSE to book her BLOWOUT when they exit...90's was my era so fun to see it back! Great tips James as always!!
Wonderful So pleased you found this demonstration of the Rachel blowdry useful it’s not something I’ve done a lot of styling videos but I definitely plan to do something in the future
Great work as usual James :) Your techniques are so clear and easy to follow. It's great seeing back catalogues of haircuts we've done in the past. This was so popular back in the noughties. Each stylist had their own version of it to suit their clients individual tastes. Great seeing the blow dry too! YS Park products are superb. The G Series round brushes give a real shine. I once bought a Taiff Energy dryer which only has 2 buttons, one for the negative and positive ions and one for the speed. I didn't realise the fast speed got as hot as it did, but it ruined one of my YS brushes, £60 gone:( My poor clients hair! YS Park recommend to hold the dryer 3cms away from the brush so the airflow circulates, and prevents heat damage. Keep up the great work James. Shaun, Nottingham, UK
I hate it when brushes get melted and get specially expensive ones like that I’ve had apprentices melt some of my YS Park brushes before heartbreaking I’m right with you ☹️ bad times
I really appreciate the tips on where and how to apply the products. I've been hairdressing for 5 years and I'm only really starting to get more comfortable with styling now and these are great tips.
Thank you so much! I just got that haircut and I’ve learned to blow dry it from you! Can’t wait to try it💜but I have one question : if I don’t have time to do it in the morning before i leave home, can I do it the night before, or it’ll disappear quicker? Thank you
Wonderful well yes it depends on your hair type with your hair time is thicker then it should survive being blowdried in the evening if your hair type is dinner then it might not survive Cambridge and evening one thing you can do with your hair if your hair is needed to be blowdried in the evening is blow dry your hair put it into a button on the top of your head and then sleep on the bun and shake it out in the morning and you should be good to go
I've always worked from roots to ends while blowdrying -- im wondering if it would still work to blowdry the ends first if your client had curly hair and needed the roots stretched out more when blowdrying ?
Fantastic Question Amanda I would say that focusing on The ends i Works great unless it’s Afro hair and that need more attention on the roots I am going to do a video on how I deal with Afro hair at some point 😁👍🏻
since we were stuck at home in 2020, I bet the Rachel will come back in 2021, lol. especially with the reunion special
LOL you are so right
