This game is great Mathas! Tbh, I saw the once off from SBB and I have been stoked on this game ever since. I am glad to see you giving it some love so it has more exposure. This is a first day buy for me, and I'll be trying to get my own experience before watching this let's play. Now, back to watching your "The Forest" LP (which you already got me to buy) :D
It seems to have been brought up earlier in the comments section, but if you really do like these sort of games have you ever played Recettear? Its a wonderful game that has the same sort of context, but there is a bit more of a time crunch as you are having to pay off a debt a piece at a time. If you haven't looked into it, I suggest it. ^_^ None the less, looking forward to seeing more of this game. You already have me interested.

I study Economics so the concept of Consumer and Producer Surplus are well implied (The expressions of the customers and how you feel when you sell something, respectively.) Mixing that with Adventure, it's pretty badass! It also seems like instead of investment, which is risky, it's replaced with the risk of delving deep into a dungeon. Really awesome concept.

It's a pretty accurate comparison, all things considered. I hear that this has more focus on the Dungeon, while Recettear is more Shop-Keeping, though. It follows the same formula, but is different enough that folks can't cry about it being a copy.
People shouldn't cry even if it were a more direct copy. Recettear was great and since they don't want to make any more games like this, I welcome everyone that goes in that direction. These games are so fun, we need more like them.

That was such a good game. The dungeon mechanics just needed tightening. If they dont want to make a Recettear 2 then I will gladly take this.
