You just saved me a lot of time. Thank you so much!
Glad I could help!
1am in the morning this is the Best Video I just saw and Detailed!!!! I’m so glad UA-cam recommended your channel. This is exactly what I was looking for the attachment with Rotary scissors. I thought I had to purchase the Ryobi attachment because all the other videos had it. You saved me money. Oh Great neighbor to help test it out !!
Can’t wait for you to get it. I really like it. I have a link in the description if you need one
Great video. I've been looking these for some time and haven't pulled the trigger yet. Also, those are calipers. 😉
Link in bio. And yes calipers
Thanks your vid helped me put it together
That’s why I made it. Glad it helped you
This would be perfect to trim around sidings. I watch my neighbors landscaper destroy their siding. I’m not that good with a weed wacker so I trim it with a big scissors for now until I get this. Good video. Just what I was looking for.
I have the link in description if you want. It works on all types of items without damaging. I just mowed around and under my kids tent in the backyard with a tear or scratch
great video sir, i have a ryobi 40 v electric BS trimmer but i think i'm gonna get the prs for it... it has enough power for the prs.. thanks!
Can’t wait for you to get one. I have a link for it in the description if you want
LOL, that too funny!!! Great Vid!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Where can the mounting kit be purchased? Im going to mount to electric greenworks pro 80 volt power head.
When you get the product, it comes with all sorts of adapters to use on whatever trimmer you have. I think there was 6 adapters in the box
Did you manage to get it mounted to you greenworks? I also have a 80v greenworks trimmer and wanted confirmation that it works with it, before I purchase one
did you ever figure a solution for the slipping collar? Mine does the same thing on a Ryobi 40v. Only been once so far, but if it keeps doing it, I'm considering green loctite.
Once I got it in correctly and tightened down, I haven’t had any issues since. Zero issues
@@LawnPusher hopefully same here then and I just didn't have it inserted the whole way when first installed
@@juswalte I think that’s basically what I did wrong
how's the prs doing with your ryobi?? ty
@Juju ryobi handles it well. I run it in low mode as the scissor housing can heat up quickly from friction. The 4ah bat wouldn't finish many yards, especially if you also edge with it. I use 6ah bat with it.
I heard you have to hand sharpen each blade… is that true?
the manual does recommend using a hand file. They also sell replacement scissors
@juswalte you can just lap it like a wheel moller
Will it fix my 2 stroke craftman
Depends on what’s wrong with your trimmer
ok the issue your having is solved by putting oil in the head to remove the stress on the drive cord. the drive cord was moving up the shaft due to load. without oil in the head the load is too high.
I didn’t install it correctly, but I did put in the grease needed afterwards
